Simply Awesome! This is the main reason why a country like Australia, with such a relatively small population, has produced soooo many world champions in MotoGP and WSB. They were all supremely capable in racing on the dirt tracks first. 👍😎🇦🇺
A friend who raced GNCC successfully for a while said his setup was always to make the bike more comfortable and easy to ride. It may not be the fastest out of the gate but you'll be faster if you're comfortable.
I was in the same boat 3 years ago and all I can say is do it! (as long as you can afford to buy a bike and all the gear... because you’ll almost certainly end up wanting one!)

I am so in love with my 2022 WR450. I brought after not owning a dirt bike since 2007 and that was a XR400...Just got back from being up the Vic High Country over Xmas. WOW!! I love this bike... I put a Pro Circiut pipe on her , thats a must. The sound is so yummy....
One fun thing is to hit up a frozen lake, clear/pylon up a circuit and with studded tyres rip around your track ;) But I agree in -30 it changes everything.

Had a go on KTM experience round there thinking it would just be wobbling round a field, was massively out of my depth and after getting the peak of helmet caught on clutch cable going under the bridge and nearly going in the hedge decided to sit and watch instead 😁
My first bike was a Kawasaki KE100. Great little bike and (for me) not bad off road. That was until one day I got a bit carried away and dropped it a few times. Broke the gear lever, front brake and clutch lever off. That was an interesting ride home! This looks like just the kind of bike that could get me back into that situation again! (Only with better equipment all round). Top job!

Rotor Adventures at Rogers Hill is my regular weekend go to for muddy winter fun. The variety of tracks is awesome. I took my new 250 down the week after you went. I had a brilliant day trying new things. Made a video but not quite as entertaining as yours. 🤣.

That place looks like a hoot. For your arm pump, its the hand clenching action that does it, leave your hands loose on the bars. I know at the start it feels like the bars will get away from you but they wont. I used to race quads so its a bit easier to do with a thumb throttle. Them tyre humps are fuckers no matter what ur on!
4:40 Yamaha are they using pigeons to weld the frame together 😵 shocking. Also I noticed in a couple of the videos some of the footage every few seconds goes blurry on TH-cam you probably know about this but this is just in case you don’t. Thanks for the content 👍 can’t wait for new BBB

Devastating news about Mick being prevented from entering. Absolutely gutting that a true 7 year Dakar legend like Mick is not allowed to compete, considering he fought back from a tumour to enter in 2020. I went on his off road course in 2004, a smashing man full of kindness, patience and humility. Your channel is rightfully a YT success, full of interesting characters, humour and insight, without the bullshit. Good luck to you all in 2022.
Interesting & good review... nice to know my 18yr old TM is still probably just as quick as a modern enduro bike, but with miles better suspension & much better balanced chassis!!! don't believe me, try riding a well set up one & make up your mind...
I'm sure people wouldn't be so against bikes like this if they weren't so bloody noisy! We can hear them from miles across the fields - can they not quieten them a bit?

There is no Enduro two stroke from Yamaha, only the YZ MX bike, in the UK at least.
