I use this as my main snare live. It's absolutely gorgeous
I once forgot my main snare at a gig and had to use this one instead. I did the job very well, so I can see how it would work for you. Thanks for watching.
I love how you tell us the drum dial setting. For those of us who don't know notes, this keeps us from playing guessing games as to how you achieved the sound.
There are some older guys that absolutely despise the drum dial, but I find really useful. I tune roughly by ear then fine tune it with the dial. Thanks for watching!
Great little snare, little thing pops.!!! Thanks for the demo sir.
High tension all the way man cool marching sound it gave
Thank you for review
Great job Shane.
+Brooke Smith - Thanks Brooke! These are quick and easy to do.
Love this snare, great video
Hadn't noticed the split screen until half way through the video. My eyes were on the snare on right
This would be killer in reggae and other island music.
Agreed! It's got a really great timbale sound even with the bottom head. This drum is really versatile.
The exaxt reason im looking to get one!
I wish i could get this exact snare in 13x5 and 14x6.5 sizes too but only 10x5 and 12x5 it seems.
Looking for a new snare drum for a beginner drummer, what would you guys recommend?
Aidan Kearns do u like how it sounds ? If yes then get it if not then don’t lol
I've played the 10" version, it's definitely a fun snare to work with either as a main snare or as an accent/side snare. If you like how it sounds, I'd recommend it.
Look good and sounds great! Do u Shane have piccolo snare? If u have, make a video...if i can ask for u..? Nice video again Shane and thanks! :D
+Ruti Kuiwa - Thanks for the kind words and support! I do have a video for a Yamaha Copper piccolo that I will upload in the next week or so. Stay tuned...
Redeye Percussion

It 's true - all of my stuff is Saluda Glory series. I've had them for 8+ years now and love it.
