I am very grateful that Mr. Egon wrote a beautiful piece for me 😍🥰 ( My name is Idil.)
This composer is not well known in the world. But I beliave that this marvelous sense of this composer is equal to well known and wonderful composers around the world. Thank you uploading.
Wunderschöne Aufführung dieser fein komponierten Klavierstücke im gut phrasierten Tempo mit klar artikuliertem Anschlag und völlig effektiver Dynamik. Echt geniale Pianistin!
This came up after I'd been listening to Wellesz' 4th quartet which is worthy of Bartok. This is worthy of Ravel Iin fact I thought it was, as I wasn't looking at the screen. Why is this wonderful composer not better known?
It is noticeable that George's poems inspired to Wellesz piano pieces, not lieder (as for instance Schoenberg's hanging gardens op. 15). Obviously here, Wellesz captured something of Debussy's atmosphere. We are fer from austro German expressionism.
Masterpieces incomparably well performed and beautifully...!
Wunderbare Musik, superb gespielt!!
Thank you very much
bella e ignorada musica, gracias por subirla a youtube
a masterpiece, masterfully played! thank you :)
How many composers as talented as Wellesz lurk in the shadows of music history?
Gorgeous and evocative music. I would have guessed Ravel or Debussy (did I hear a bit of "Clair de lune" in "Schwebend"?)
hermoso
danke!!!
Pleased to have found it tonight! Does anyone know the name of the painting and the artist?
