OK man I've been playing 2 years 4-20 hrs a day, what's the trick? Stare at the neck? Listen and memorize? That's hard!
Unfortunately there aren't any shortcuts. I recommend you practice at a slow tempo and gradually increase it as you grow more confident.
It's mainly muscle memory. You only need to practice.
A loooot easier to play by memorization than to read off of shit(sheet) music. Easy song != easy sheet music.
