Also, I think you should do a more detailed video on miriapods, you only had 3 species here dumped into crustaceans, even though they weren't crustaceans. This video is very good, I just think miriapods deserve their own video.
2:15 That creature (Pronunciation: Shenderhunnas, literally: The Flaying John) is named after a notorious outlaw from the region it was found, who specialized in stealing livestock: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schinderhannes -- quite some name for a predator!
It would be cool if you did a video on another crustacean that gets very little recognition: the Woodlouse (rollypolley bug). They are such successful animals and are found almost everywhere on earth. Truly a remarkable creature
I like the way paleontologist is pronounced here. In my opinion, it is more correct than what you may hear otherwise. Remember: this word is of ancient Greek origin and has nothing to do with a bodyly condition.
They are very likely homologous. HOX mutations can cause reduplication of appendages at various points of the body, explaining multiple eyes in some taxa (including arachnids). It is unlikely that sophisticated eyes evolved twice within the same lineage since they were already well-developed in Anamolocarida, so if they are indeed basal to crown Arthropoda, they are almost certainly homologous.
As usual a most informative & tidy summary (great that you show the physical scale and time frames for the taxa too). It makes more work for me, of course, as I research for the technical papers pertaining to them, to check if they're in my TIP data field www.tortucan.wordpress.com, but especially in fields where every new taxon improves the resolution of the Cambrian window, I'm not about not to follow these up :)

You should take that up with BBC or DK books, it's their information he cut and pasted in order to try and make money off ads
I love these kinds of videos. I've always enjoyed watching them before I go to bed. Keep up the great work!
It seems like the pom pom crab was cheering the video at the end.
great video. feels like i’m discovering new life in subnautica with the voiceover.
It seems like early crustacean-esque creatures sort of owned the world at one point. They had a system all their own.
Anthöny Pain es una maravilla tu canal, hace tiempo que buscaba un canal así.
Ok i love this channel
My favorite modern day animals, crustaceans!

The whole cooking crabs and lobsters alive thing never sat right with me
This vid was magnificent too - thanks a lot!

Modern fairy shrimp are very similar to anomalicaris and amplectobelua.
They look so much alike it makes me wonder how close the connection is.
Great job!
I love your videos amigo, greetings from México :)
Sil Ponce great thing
Good job always love your videos
Do insects next plz
Best video ever!

Damn crustecans and arthropods
Anthony Your Great!
They look so weird!
Are the eyes of anamolocarids and the compound eyes of later crustaceans analogous?
They are very likely homologous. HOX mutations can cause reduplication of appendages at various points of the body, explaining multiple eyes in some taxa (including arachnids). Krab krust tv2 I don’t know
@@HuckleberryHim or that compound eyes are literally universal within arthropods
@@goodsolonius7305 That was an old comment and I have no idea what my train of thought was, but yes, this is a much simpler answer
@@goodsolonius7305 Although, just to be annoying (but you do say "literally"), there are many extant arthropods which lack eyes altogether
So... Are crabs the arthropod equivalent of frogs?
6:27 what a name
Despite the text to speech, this was great.
Um, maxillopods, ostracods, brine shrimp? Live your videos but what about the other major classes of ctustaceans?
갑각류 동물들의 똑같은 진화

no just no
I like the animals and dinosaurs and se are save the animals
Show millipedes and centipedes are terrestrial crustaceans in 1 million years I bet you nobody would be able to guess that
Poor Anomalocaris, and then was driven to death by eurypteroids and orthocones.
Do phorusracids please 😉
I already made birds! :) You can find the videos about them on my channel
What comes next?
Elephants (a better one), rodents, insects, giraffes, random weird stuff....
7:18 amogus
I have a suggestion. Why don’t you use speakonia?
And mour videos of the evolution of the animals and does the video of the evolution of the fish species like the clown fish
I don't mind the computer voice at all, but have you ever tried to narrate with your actual voice?
Nope and I don't really want to :(
Late to reply, but I completely understand. You don't have to if you don't want to
In each slide we get size of creature compaRed to human , geography of its era,and shape of gaiaa during that evolution,,,excellent!
@@Anthönypain understandable man but your content is good enough :)
@@Fumango thank you all for your support 😊 (billion of years later 👍)
Have you done eurypterids?
Yes, video about spiders!
@@Anthönypain Ok, I'll check it out
Ahhhhhhh
Anomalocaris
I like echinoderms.
I liked the crustaceans.
No Eurypterids?
Eurypterids aren't crustaceans right?
They’re chelicerates not crustaceans. Related to horseshoe crabs, arachnids and mites.

Informative, but are you using a computer to read a script? The pronunciation is very, very weird.
