@gayathri venkataraghavan you have so evocatively rendered this masterpiece composition that also conveys your devotion to the Goddess and Dikshithar. And with an excellent team comprising Mysore Srikanth, Sivaraman and Purushottam at the peak of their prowess, this truly makes it special.
Wow! what a melodious and divine rendition of the very popular kriti of Dikshithar on Sri Mahalakshmi. Happy Deepavali wishes to you, your family and all those watching this wonderful singing.👏👏❤️❤️🙏
@sushmanadig2738 With due respect to the Gayaki, I hold on to my view. You can listen to the same kruthi sung by young Spoorti Rao, and other Gayakas and get back to me. Once again my due respect to the Gayaki.🙏 P.S. Sri Dekshidar is my manasika guru in Carnatic Music and have visited many of the temples on which he has composed his kritis since my age of 20 to 65.

The shloka rendered before the krithi - can we have more details on it
This is a sloka I learned as a child probably in one of the Puja Vidanam books. Will certainly share if I can find the source
Beautiful rendition 🙏🏽 What raga is this song ?
Happy Deepawali
It's Lalitha ragam.
Why so fast. Loss of clarity in the sahityam. Dekshidar kritis to be sung in slow pace to understand the lyric and enjoy it 😊😊
The pace of the song is just right and very emotive. The bhava in her rendition makes all the difference. Beautifully accompanied too.

Impeccable singing. No reason for finding any defect in this rendition. God bless the artist. Long live the greatness of Dikshitar.
Very much artificial bhaavam.
