Axe, saw, seeds, soil, water, old steam engine and a generator. You will always have power when you need it. And it's really cheap and reliable. If you do different sorts of seeds you can work wonders for your local eco system as well. Plus chicks dig it when you swing an axe :)

Solarcon can convert a normal inverter into solar inverter. There is no need to install separate mppt solar charge controller.
Is it possible to run entire home on DC current? We use solar + inverter + batteries and main power for backup..

Hamir Bharwad , recreation vehicles(RV) use many DC appliance, but they are more expensive to make. Also low voltage DC power does not travel through power lines as well as high voltage AC power, so the wires needed for DC are also more expensive... That is why it is more common to use an inverter and regular AC appliances in larger spaces like a home.
Anything can run off DC if you are willing to pay. Far far cheaper is to use an inverter and another panel to make up for any inefficiencies if rquiired, which will likely be less with a dedicated inverter than running a series of inverters or DC-DC converters in each appliance. DC appliances would need to be custom designed and made which will of course be hideously expensive.

If you running a 900 watt coffe pot then you got 10 100 watt pannels you want run your batterys down best to have 1500 watts to 2000 sence most homes use a total at one time around 1500 to 2000 watts if you want to run everything at once get 3k or 4 k

@2:34 it says full 800w supplied is sent to run the appliances, but in reality how this happens?? the charge ctrler can't simply transfer 800w to appliances right? it needs a buffer ie the battery? i assume in short power is supplied to devices through battery only. right?
800w load will be roughly 80A on a 12v Battery.

I have reservations for this system calculation. as far I know 1000watts solar panels would never generate 1000watts even in peak sunshine. there's line losses, inverter efficiency, DC to AC conversations.
How much load do you want to run ? Because sizing depends on that only.
There are some losses in ac to dc conversion but our inverters are highly efficient so these losses are minimum.
I want to run a small 5,000 or 6,000 BTU air conditioning 24 hours per day. How can I do that on 1,000 watts?

I haven't bought it yet. But one I found said about 490 watts. I have my reservations about running it 24 hours per day. I live in a very hot climate. My current central air is unable to keep up. I have it set to 73 degrees and when I get home the house is at 75. So do you think with a 2 kilowatt solar array I could run a 500-600 watt small window air conditioning unit in a master bedroom?

how to calculating 30A MPPT Solar charger.
I have 16 panels at 270 watts each .1 has its own 30 amp charge controller and the rest I wired 3 panels to one 30 amp controller at 24 volts. At 12 volts I could get over 70 amps with 3 panels so I switched to 24 volts and cut the amps down to 30. I can afford more cheap controllers this way and bought spares. I have not had to replace one until this year, but that was my fault trying to see how much it could handle. It was 5 years old and handled 55 amps for 2 weeks so I bumped it up to 70 and it lasted a day. Been on solar for 7 years.

If I build something like this it's because I'll be doing so it runs the entire house 24/7. So I don't think solar is the way to go. A 30kw diesel generator should do the trick.
I got 1470 watts on my roof I run 600 watts for my 12 volt and have 870. Watts runs my 24 volt I got 3000 watt inverter on both both run my hole. House don't cost nothing. Geneerater will cost you as much if not more to run than your elictric. Billl

4 batteries 12v 150ah means 10 hours backup at 1kw load. total capacity of these batteries are 7200 watt hour. that too if the batteries are 100% new and 100% efficient. rest aside the inverter efficiency. I am sure you didnt do the math correct. little homework is needed.
Thanks for the feedback. Since this battery is rating C/10 the calculations are done accordingly. If battery is discharged by 15amps then you may get backup for 10 hours approximately. Inverter efficiency has been considered. Load mentioned 800W.
Su-Kam Power Systems Limited again wrong calculation. 2 batteries give 30 amp in total at 24v so its 720watts. even if inveter is 100% efficient (practically its impossible and it should be well below 90%) then also its not 800 watts. so something is wrong
there is a rule in science. you can not generate energy from nothing. you need to consider that while calculation of these things
Are there not any independent tests to prove who has the most efficient inverter on the market? I would like to use a 3,000 watt inverter and power a fridge, dishwasher, front loader washing machine, computers, two HD TV's and a PS4. Can this be done on 2,000 watts?
assuming that the inverter is 100% efficient and the load is 800 W
800 W / 24 V = 33.3 A
considering that the batteries are C/10 rated means they should be discharged at a maximum current of 150/10 = 15 A
since you have 2 banks in parallel you get 33.3/2 = 16.65 A
which is just above the maximum rated discharge current
so you need bigger batteries of more banks in parallel
using the batteries in the video might get you about 7 hours max

1.5 ton is about 5300watts per hour, so 53,000watts (53kw) per 10 hours. How many "sun hours" do you have in your location? If 5 sun hours, then you need minimum 10600 watts of solar panels, plus additional to recharge batteries for days that are cloudy. The battery size you need will depend on how much you will run your AC when there is no sun.

@@noblemathew6582 yes you are right when you consider that the compressor doesn't run the whole hour... just over 3500 watts per ton per hour. That's where I got my 5300watts per hour.
Try some new solutions from Avasva solutions.
Only 1 fan run 60 watt . Never 1000 watt run .
Always sad to read these posts and watch these videos posted by people who do not understand the simplest principles behind this subject.
For example energy and power. Do NOT use these interchangeably. Power times time is energy. Deal with loads on that basis.
Energy is stored in batteries. The voltages of the batteries are added if in series, the current is added if in parallel. Please don't do both at the same time!
Unfortunately this video goes off the rails repeatedly because of these basic errors. Learn about electrical power produced by batteries before making your next video, please.
Your calculations are based on 100% DOD. (depth of discharge) Which is unreal. Max DOD shall be about 50%.
