    That kitchen is brilliant! I love your work. Simple, compact, a place for everything and looks sleek. I just saw the wood interior video too. Also really beautiful. I’m in the US and there are beautiful van builds but I haven’t seen anything with this well thought out storage. Great work.

    I notice the majority of the weight of some the fitouts is located to the rear of the vehicle extending behind the rear axle. Some fitouts even have a considerable space behind the seats in front of the fitout. The rule of loading a vehicle is to have the load between the axles with only lighter load behind the rear axle. Wouldn't it be better to have these fitouts reversed?
    A mate sleeps inside his Prado. He complains about the heat so your insulation is good.
    I travel on my own. As an avid fisherman I would need rod racks, a smaller bait fridge and a 60 litre food unit with a shower and toilet. Ahh I will have to sell my Prado and buy a Big Unimog.

    Looks good...just don’t expect Drifta to return your calls, respond to emails or pretend to be interested in doing your van. Gave up trying and did it myself.

      I know the old ones we used to use 40 years ago but I'm thinking he has a specific one in mind. I'd love a link so I can look them up.

    Wheres the sink?

    • @sharyndunnett937
      @sharyndunnett937 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      When he pulled the kitchen out, the space where the stove goes, there's a pump sink. In the underneath bit is a collapsible bowl/sink. I noticed on another vid there isn't exactly anywhere to actually put it and it seems the pump tap may swivel back into the stove area for washing up after. But that wouldn't help to get water AS you're cooking or wash as you go. Also he hasn't shown where the water comes from for the sink. In another vid I saw he mentioned assorted hoses, but I guess you'd have a water safe jerry can/container and just sit it under there and pump from it. But the lack of an actual sink area has me wondering too.
