given the low barrier of entry thing I can't see them being soo uptight about this that they are going to change the rules and to not allow for this to happen again. I think making the rules say something like this can't happen ever again would be slightly hypocritical of a competition with such a low barrier to entry.
You realize how dumb this is right? “Tenor” already being a descriptor of pitch… you can’t have a “bass tenor” so you would just switch the word tenor and you’d get “bass drums”… oh wait!

Growing up, I was in select coral groups, so I understand the long hours of practice and dedication behind the music, especially at a competitive level. EMC, thank you, you are typical of any who competes in DCI and goes on to greater things, like your service with the USMC. The gift of music, and the discipline it brings to those of us who gladly receive it, last a lifetime. Congratulations on your well-earned awards. Fantastic work.
I remember when I started highschool and wanted to play tenors. I took my dads roto Tom set and took it apart and made tenors to play at home. Personally I thought it was the best thing since Picasso
nothing makes me happier than seeing that the saints had a few i&e performances this year. the years of struggle and strife that corps goes through makes me happy that they still push out content, and march year after year. 4 year member from that corps, their shift to dca was hard but nice to see ❤️
