I have watched lots of videos of people doing this exact stitch but nobody has ever made it so easy to understand and follow as you have. Thank you. You have a new subscriber.
I ordered Toho beads from your eBay store a couple of weeks ago and was very pleased with the order. I didn't know you had a TH-cam channel. Love this very basic technique, and I can see using it for many projects. Thank you.
Try totally beads Kitti pits some left hand in too . She is trying to get some more done . Friend plays the videos into a mirror and works from that, she says not always the best but she seems to do well in my opinion .
Potomac beads showed how to reverse righty to lefty on TH-cam but I couldn’t figure out how to do it, I am terrible with computers. Let me know if you figure it out. Best of luck Lefty
I loved the way you "needle the thread" instead of threading the needle. That was a little tip I think most people might miss, but not me. I've struggled with my eyesight for years, and this is the quickest way to get the three in the needle for me these days without a 10x magnifying glass.
The first couple of rounds feel very wonky, but it gets much better. It's a very loose piece, so if you're a control freak and tight beader like me, it'll feel like you're doing something wrong. It'll work out and turn out very nice. So dainty! I really like the outcome!
I would love to get a written tutorial for this….I think it hard because the results are not uniform but rather chaos on a string…. Thank you for this tutorial. I looked at sapphirus as well and yours is the easiest to understand. I really like the two colored spiral….. please put that in your instruction as well! 😬
what a beautiful chain!!! def looks easy enough , and like almost every projects the beginning is always the hardest part !!! ty for sharing your talents and pattern with us !!!
Almost gave up after 2 hours of trying to figure this out. So I tried using four different colors and finally figured out how to make this necklace. I have made three of these necklaces now with 8/0 seed beads. Still using four colors and 8/0's. They are beautiful. Love this stitch.
@@BonnieJHP That sounds like a great idea using four different colors....just can't imagine how to do that! I'm about to use 6/os since they're bigger. Would love to see your necklaces!!
Wow, that was deceptively difficult (despite this being a really good and clear tutorial)! However, once I got it in my head that I was always going through the second bead I’d just added, it started to flow better after I’d wrestled with the first few rows. Would love tips on adding thread as I didn’t find it so easy - thread is quite visible on this one, but practice will help! Thanks for the great video. I can’t wait to try to make more (please share what beads you used as they look amazing).
Very interesting and lovely work, thank you for sharing. Please, can you give a tutorial on the ring you are wearing, which is absolutely beautiful. Thank you
Wonderful tutorial! I enjoyed watching you teach this. I tried doing this and I have a problem keeping the correct four beads on top. I will try and then try again until I get it. 😊🥰😘
Hello, I love the tutorial but since the chain is so thin how do you add new thread? You can see where I added mine and it’s thicker which I don’t like. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing. I would like to try doing it but need to know how to end the chain and add a clasp. Do you have a tutorial for this? If not, I would like to see you do one in the near future. Tutorial was well done.
Omg!! I have created some many intricate pieces of beadwork but i cant dont his for my life!! 🤔🤔🤔 I cant see it turning into the one like you made!! 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
This is a beautiful project and I'm sure it's just me, but I have tried and tried to make this chain and I just can't do it. I've struggled for days. The bit I can't do is the bit you edit out: putting the new round on to the one beneath. I end up with a mess. If isn't just me and others have problems stacking the new row, perhaps you could add a bit to the end of the videos, showing the whole stacking process?
Kerry Horwitz I responded to another lady, Mary Ann, who was having difficulty also, explaining the technique. Please read it, you may find my explanation helpful. Good luck!
Kerry Horwitz yes! I have tried and tried also and I can’t seem to see where all the beads lay after starting the pull into four! I think I am going to try 8/0 and 4 different colors like the comment above said!
I know others have found this doable after trying a couple of times....I will not give up BUT lol can you do another toot with four colors of 11/o ? This is such a challenge for me! I cannot tell what it is I am doing incorrectly! If I can follow with four colors then I will be able to do it with one or two. Hoping to hear soon, while in lockdown! ( -: lol
Not as easy as it looks!!! But exactly what I am looking for. Why do I end up with 3 beads and definitely not a diamond shape and very very loose. What am I doing wrong?😅
This is ridiculously hard for some reason. There is no 4 bead pattern. It keeps turning into triangles. There is no way to see how to hold it. I can’t get past the third bead addition
Is there a printed pattern to go along with the technique? I didn’t understand where the next stitch goes. If one’s needle is coming out of the top bead pointing right, which bead is the next to be sewn through? 🌹
Mary Ann Neuroth, start with four beads to create a diamond Shape, let's call them north, south, east and west. If your thread is coming out of the north bead and heading to the right, you pick up two beads and insert your needle into the west bead. Rotate your work after each stitch, so that the threads always coming out of the north bead. Likewise, if you prefer to work in the opposite direction, then your thread would come out heading to the left, so you would pick up two beads and insert them into the bead to the east. I hope this helps.
I am surprised at how much of the thread is showing! I’m really glad that you have used a strong contrasting color for your demonstration. I can’t wait to give this a try.
It looks easy, but goodness me, the first row is a nightmare!! After 7 attempts, I still can't get beyond the first row added. Trying to get the beads to lie on top of the ones in the previous row is a real challenge. On which beads, exactly, are the added beads supposed to lie on top of?? Very frustrating
I know , it seems your going into the bottom bead of the 1 your coming out of the top bead so they lay right of them ? Do you turn also ? But it’s lovely 🤟🏻❤️💋🥰
I haven't had much 'luck' (?) either after 3 attempts but here I am again....please please don't give up! I'm going to use bigger seeds, like 6aught to be able to see exactly how it relates to the smaller 11aught. Try it that way!!
Judith, keep trying. I was also confused at first. I had to hold it extra tight and pay close attention to how the original 4 beads sat. I got it now. Just FYI, it's very loose.
Hi Terry, sorry I missed your question. I'm planning to do a follow up video soon that will address all the tips and tricks. I will be using 2 colors and spend more time on the first two rows. Hopefully that will help

I love this chain. So pretty and dainty. I made three necklaces already. Thank you for sharing this tutorial.
Thank you so much for showing this. Ive been making pendants lately & need a way to wear them. Thank you 🎉
Beautiful nail polish
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for this tutorial. I was looking for a seed bead chain to complement a heart pendant. I am positive this chain is the one. ❤️

I wish I could get this! Being lefty & trying to learn beading stuff is difficult. Looks easy enough. Thanks, I’m going to keep trying.

These are Beautiful. I have loads of 11/0 seed beads. I may have to get me some 15/0 ones. These looks very easy to do.🙂

Love your South African accent.
Are you an ex South African?

Wow this looks great thank you for this going to have a go been looking for one to make a simple silver bracelet 😊😊
Hi just made four of these they are fantastic so beautiful 🤩 just love them thank you for a great video
Super simple. Thank you so much. Just what I was looking for 💐

Also I haven't used a clasp. I make them 26-27 inches and join ends by weaving Fireline through beads. Then it can go over my head.

I used Miyuki seed beads as they are pretty uniform
I love how dainty this is and how softly it drapes. Gonna try it out soon! Thank you for sharing!!!

WOW! Simple but elegant. Beautiful I love it. Any problem using larger beads? Keep your tutorials coming.

Patricia Weiss hi Patricia, you only use four beads for the very first time then you only pick up two beads at a time. Hope this helps!
Not as easy as it looks!!! But exactly what I am looking for. Why do I end up with 3 beads and definitely not a diamond shape and very very loose. What am I doing wrong?😅
It’s all in the thread type and how you’re tightening it. Try pulling it tighter and keep a firm hold on it.
Thank you 🤩🤩🥰💜💜
Oi consegui fazer esse colar para colocar no pingente que fiz de Pérola que aprende fazer também muito obrigado por encinar
Did I mis how much Thread is needed for this project?
as much as it takes, lol.. but jokes aside I find working in 1 meter lengths the best :)
She didn’t tell us. Almost nobody tells us. Ugh. It’s super frustrating.

How can we add an larger Accent bead to the chain?
Can you share how to finish the chain with a clasp?
Hi Gisel, I'm planning to make a follow up video that will include the clasp
Yes, please do. Thanks!
If you want to make a very long chain, can you add thread or you have to start with a very long length?
I would add thread as I go, but it is a personal preference
Beautiful necklaces. Even bracelets.
Curious as to what thread you did use.
She used Dura thread - see the beginning of the video
