- IN THIS VIDEO I SEEN A YAMAHA XMAX 300 PULL UP TO THE RED LIGHT AND I MASHED UP BESIDE HIM TO SEE IF HE WANTED TO RACE ME ONCE THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN.
I HAD NO IDEA WHO THIS PERSON WAS OR WHAT TYPE OF MODIFICATIONS HE HAD DONE ON HIS YAMAHA XMAX 300.
MY HONDA FORZA 350 IS ALL STOCK AND NOTHING WHATSOEVER HAS BEEN DONE TO THE MOTORBIKE.
NO MODIFICATIONS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.
WHO WILL WIN THE RACE.
WILL IT BE THE HONDA FORZA 350
OR
WILL IT BE THE YAMAHA XMAX 300
WAIT TILL THE END AND SEE.

I had in my garage an xmax300 2019 model but i sold it after 2 years and 35.000km for the updated model forza 350.
I bought the forza 350 on September 2021 without test driving it.
Let me share with you my impressions after 2 weeks of driving it and how it is compared to the xmax300.
• The seat material is not as good as the xmax300 and the whole construction closing and opening feels cheap.
• It has only one storage space on the left side and it is very deep and not easy to reach your stuff. Again the construction feels very cheap compare to the xmax300 which has 2 storage spaces.
• The biggest problem was some kind of vibrations that i was feeling at the seat, at the mirrors and at the steering when the scooter wasnt moving. I didnt faced anything like this with the xmax300 or any other scooter i have had.
• Fuel consumption about the same as the xmax for sure not better.
• Brakes better than the xmax300
• Rear Suspension is hard and not so soft as the xmax300.
• Steering is about the same as the xmax 300 small differences.
• The forza 350 engine feels quiter and stronger than the xmax300.
• The instruments and the mirrors are more premium than the xmax300.
Overall it didnt worth the upgrade and the whole experience of the forza350 left me unsatisfied.
The biggest problem for me is the vibrations of the scooter because it makes it feel cheap.
The xmax300 for me is the better option.
That's exactly how I felt m8.

The modified exhaust makes the biggest difference of all. Put one of those on your stock Forza and you’d be at least equal. Also you should have had your screen up and your visor down.
Using same tyres, stock versions of both and same weight of the drivers forza is quicker, and the build quality is amazing.
Because tyres are making that kind of difference in acceleration. 🤔

You should have been in the know that Honda scooters are a hold on and never dance away system. They will take you where ever you wanna go safely, but not in a "drug race ".
Well, till about 100km/h the Forza was way faster and that's more important than the last 20-40 kms.

I'm glad I have a 2023 Xmax ...I can outrun my friends Burgman 400 .....it's a tank c9mpared to Xmax ....too heavy and bulky feeling compared to nimble feeling more maneuverable Xmax !!!!

With his aftermarket exhaust he will definitely be faster. Aftermarket exhaust gives extra horsepower on the motorcycle. I tried it on my motorcycle same model and brand the aftermarket exhaust equipped bike was way faster and powerful then the stock.
I want to fix this after market exhaust for My Forza 350band Xmax 300. Please suggest the exhausts for me

Honda does not import the Forza 350 into the US. so sad. It looks like it would be perfect for my needs.
The Forza is the better engineered machine all round, apart from maybe the suspension since it's a bit more subjective, rather than objective. The Forza engine is a short stroke, oversquare design. Meaning it has a wider bore, shorter stroke. This by default makes the engine far more reliable, more resilient even at higher RPMS. Not only that, Honda knows this and made the compression ratio lower, much lower than the xmax 300 which again extends engine life and reliability. If the forza engine was tuned to the extent the xmax 300 is, by increasing it's stroke and compression ratio the honda would be rediculously overpowered, almost laughably, it would be producing over 45hp, way to powerful, which then everything needs to be changed to suit it.
Xmax is a good machine, but it is more highly tuned using longer stroke + high compression which is good for performance but worse in every other way, it's a much smaller engine and needs that tuning to compare to the Honda.
Xmax is more highly tuned / stressed which the Honda does not need to do. Think of the Honda as a very relaxed machine that does not have much internal stress going on, this is why the service intervals are insane. 12k on the honda vs 10k on the xmax.
That xmax in the video had an exhaust, was probably lighter and by default the xmax is geared for higher speed, whilst the Honda is geared for acceleration and torque.
In all areas, the honda is the better more refined machine from a technical stand point. They both have similar hp and torque numbers, but one is a smaller engine and the other is a larger engine. They both produce kind of similar numbers but the yamaha is more highly stressed to get those numbers, which is probably not a good thing on a scooter, better on a race bike or race car.

No matter. When you get to my age that extra few Kph is not so important. (Retired and sensible so far) even traded my Kawa 650 Vulcan S for a 2021 Kawa V 900 custom. This week pick up 2nd bike .. Forzer 350. Probably use the latter more. Will luv ‘me both. Mr Merv

No idea but that bike was modified.
I need to get some new exhaust and do up my Intake.
But I will try to race an all original xmax to see what happens

Forza does very good m8.
I can go on days with no fill up.
If I drive on 1 full tank I can get around 3.5 houres

I'm 6' 3" 210 lbs. 34" inseam.....and I have plenty of room .......Xmax is better than Honda and Suzuki !!!! You will love the Xmax......just set on one to see if you have enough room !!!

Nope, at least he has an Akrapovic. And probably a Malossi variator.

He had some fake exhaust system and some air box for more flow.
A quick mod but did great on the top end.
I will upgrade soon for sure.
Forza is quicker and better quality. Rest is just aesthetics.

I am happy with my bike for sure but I would like to see for my self which is better.
However the xmax to me is like a caddilac and I would think the forza would be like a Pontiac lol.
Not sure of that makes sense.
