That was great. I've not seen this freezing method before, I'll try this. When you mentioned un-thawing them, I figure that means to thaw them. I can only imagine what the peppers would look like after canning them frozen. 😅
I did not add water. And after the 35 min you wait and let the canner naturally release pressure, then take out and place on a towel.(this helps with temperature shock so your bottle doesnt break)
@@redtrailhomestead I would re-read your recipe. It should say to add peppers , salt if desired and water to one inch headspace. I would not use any of the peppers you processed as they are not safe without adding the liquid!

Did you add water to the jars after adding in the peppers? And after the 35 min in the canner, did you remove right away?

Do you have to peel them?
Yes, as in the video, I peel them after blistering the skins.
