I love this discussion. I have been speaking on this throughout the last few months, especially this month. One should also be aware that scientifically, the heart has a mind of it's own. Jesus says my words are Spirit and Life; therefore, when we read the Word of God we are receiving Spirit and Life and the Word begins to change the mind, will, and emotions of our soul to line up with what has been placed into our born-again spirits (the mind of Christ) when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and making Him Lord. We choose to read the Word of God; however, it is the Word and the Spirit that actually make the change in the way we think, or else we would boast. We choose to believe, and we choose to read, we choose to implement what we have learned. God blesses us with His presence when we read His Word and worship His Son.
