About this game:
When Isaac’s mother starts hearing the voice of God demanding a sacrifice be made to prove her faith, Isaac escapes into the basement facing droves of deranged enemies, lost brothers and sisters, his fears, and eventually his mother.
Gameplay
The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action RPG shooter with heavy Rogue-like elements. Following Isaac on his journey players will find bizarre treasures that change Isaac’s form giving him super human abilities and enabling him to fight off droves of mysterious creatures, discover secrets and fight his way to safety.

Alexander Morgan, nah it's just making things harder. You will lose holy mantle most likely.
The best way is imho to stack up damage and don't pick up any explosive effects.
I've ended up one shotting blue baby with a single tech x circle. (and by blue baby I mean the lamb)
Mateusz, you don't lose Holy Mantle if you start as the Lost (and dont pick up a second holy mantle on your way).
I believe that you can lose any of your items. Be it active or passive, obtained through picking it up or starting with it.
I started with lazurus because I read about victory laps. But to my surprize I had lost my revive on my 3rd lap.
That punchline at the end was more than an hour in the making. An hour of NL saying how easy the run was.
Honestly one of NL's best videos.
I've done this achievement and I know you turn into the lost on the third run and I'm sitting here shaking my head listening to northern lion gloat about how easy he's gonna finish this
yeah i got it on my 2nd try but yeah its a bit disheartning when you get to the final lap and you are like really..... Ive done I think 6 or 7 runs till i died then i was like well thats boring so i havnt gone back to do it again.
Though i just had a run with azazel where i was doing the 5 wins in a row with 5 different characters. so i had, eden, issac and appolyon done im thinking eh i'll do azazel it will be easy and omg the game was like you get nothing u will die. I swear it must of been one of my best technical playing thrus ever i was doing some master level dodging and then i die come back as lazarus continue on then die come back as the lost (no mantle) then die on the womb 2......... I think in all that time i got maybe 2 soul hearts...
Derk Ling I actually did it on my first try and on the third victory lap I was like "oh, I'm the lost now" but I broke the game so much that I one shot the lamb

When I got the achievement, I was lucky to do it on the first try thanks to 9lives. Changing you to the lost without warning is indeed scummy though.
Same thing here but i got Clicker to change my character the first time i was made into The Lost.
I had the hunch he would die the moment he picked up Ipecac + mom's eye.

Every time something absurd and abrupt kills him, during that extended period of silence I imagine NL slowly removing his glasses, stippling his fingers and thinking: "How am I going to broach this death in a funny, insightful, non-salty fashion?"
NL feels kinda anime villain in this one "we're only using one 10th of our power"

All through the run, I was expecting him to blow himself up as the lost. Funniest surprise ever when it turned out to be a normal enemy.

Man, that ending was gold. We've all had those completely bullshit Lost deaths, but it still doesn't stop it from being absolutely hilarious.

I spent a whole hour waiting for that ending and it was totally worth it.

Every time I watch NL do these challenges, it inspires me to go do them myself. I still cant do It's The Key but I just did the rerun challenge and fuck was that stressful. The Lost with no respawn, protection, etc items. I'm still sweatin' from that one.

This teaches you that Ipecac is always a rough item and you shouldn't take it unless you're either starving for damage or have something that negates explosive damage.

Brian Myers It's horrendous garbage, and there's basically no good reason to take it. So of course it's an Egg staple.
It lets you freeze your followers in place. For some this is good, like Devil baby, allowing you to set a turret.

I would like to clarify something for the younger audience here, that might be wondering.
A rerun was a concept back when we didn't have on-demand videos or TiVo. TV would pay big money to the publishers of shows to air them more than once, because we had to wait until the show was on TV and if we missed it, that would've been it.
Every airing beyond the first run was called a rerun.
There, now the millennials are up to speed!

LMAO, whole run, "there's no way we lose this" then he dies on the very first room of combat as the lost.
I hate how NL just never did reruns because he decided "it never gets harder" is fact, when you both become no holy lost and eventually stop having shops/item rooms while still losing items. It's very much the best endurance/hard thing in normal isaac, whether you reach 40 loops or not.
We have got to remember to take the negative, but only on the first lap as we will have the Polaroid. Permanent Polaroid invincibility would be a great thing to have so let's remember to take it. EGG!!
