Do you think it's a good choice if you find it programming difficult? (I'm currently struggling with OOP and sometimes feel a little lost/anxious when coding. This is making me doubt whether pursuing computer science at university would be a good idea as I'm finding the simple stuff hard, even though I really like the subject in high school and find it interesting!) thank you :)
I wouldn’t say OOP is easy stuff somit you find that difficult in the beginning that’s no problem. Also this feeling of being lost and anxious is absolutely normal when you start and / or when you move outside of your comfort zone. What matters is do you have fun even though it is hard? (you don’t have to have fun all the time sometimes it is also okay to feel lost or frustrated ;)). But it you have fun most of the time: go for it!
I wouldn’t say you need very good grades across the board. As a hiring manager sinews mostly looking at the grades of the project type lectures and software engineering or programming. You can offset a bad grade math for instance by having a very good one in a software engineering project. Also if you have experience either from working an internship or side-projects that can be much more valuable then just having good grades. So I would say grades matter the most when you have only bad ones.
