I love hanging out with you in your videos! It's keeping me in the right head space for training as I don't have a large community that trains both running and the gym. You are also such a fun human so thank you for taking the time to make content even though you are training like a beast, momming Oakley and loving hubby! It's a lot - though so appreciated
Recipe for cooking good rice on the stove.. 1 cup rice + 1 cup water (just equals parts water and rice to your measurements), put the rice on high with the lid on until it starts to boil, once its just about boils over, quickly turn it on low (can quickly take the pot lid off if that what it takes to stop the water boiling over), leave on low to cook and dont take the lid off. Once it starts to look fluffy and like all the water is gone, tilt the pot to the side to double check there is so water. Turn off the heat and leave the rice to sit and steam for another 5-10 mins. Can then fluff up with a fork.. this turns out perfect for me every time.
I just bought the beef liver supplement (I have been researching it already) and hope I receive the same benefits you have been getting!!! I'm a full-time uni student, have 2 casual jobs and am a triathlete. I also hit that 2pm wall as I wake up early to train. Uni starts on the 19th so hopefully I can see some benefits!!!!!
Breville the set and serve rice cooker is very good for the price! It’s not too expensive ($60-$80 depending on where you buy it - Amazon, the good guys etc)
Yeah, getting dogs not to eat stuff is something I've never figured out. All of mine also liked to roll in the dead fish. Be glad you don't have skunks.
failsafe recipe for cooking rice that doesn't require a lot of work: 1 part rice and 2 parts water, i.e. 1 cup rice, 2 cups water; bring the water to boil with the rice already in it, add salt and cumin to the water learnt from the Arabs in my friend group to pan-fry the dry rice in a bit of oil / butter first (and then season with cumin), after 1-2 minutes add your water - but I find the first method gets really good results! I always wait until the water nearly boils, then I turn down the temp - you can pretty much leave the rice to cook and do other things, the rice will soak up the water and your rice will be done once the water is all gone. only need to stir a bit at the end when your water has almost gone
Hey girl when you cook your rice on the stove top get your water or broth to a rolling boil, add your rinsed rice and stir then immediately cover and turn the heat to low and let the rice absorb the water. Water to rice ratio is as follows: 1 cup rice to 1.5 cups of water.
You may look up Pica or Cushing’s disease for Oakley. They’re pretty common (I had an Australia shepherd with Cushing’s) and both of them can cause a dog to eat everything / eat non food items. ❤ to both of you!
Have you ever thought about making a LTK profile? I love your outfits and I am always curious where your clothes, shoes, swimsuits etc. are from!! Love the content xx
Use a pincher collar. Its not painful and try to teach the "leave it" comand! Bring tiny treats and say leave it and do a quick tug and reward when his attention is away.
Teach “leave it” and “look at me” with treats at home and then on lead before walk but with treats to “leave” and then walking on lead but use treats to reward when he goes to a stick or fish and “leaves it” listening to look at me and leave it commands
I sweat a lot too, but I’m using a really good deodorant: deo stress resist 72h from Vichy. Not sure if u have that brand in AUS because I’m from Europe ☺️😘

Hey girl. Would love if you could do a video on what protocols you take for muscle repair/recovery so that you can train the way that you do!
I’ve been loving your videos! Such an inspiration! ❤

You mentioned spending on food, electronics etc… do you do budgeting? Do you know how much you spend a week on groceries, eating out etc?

Also, we literally got our rice cooker from Kmart for maybe $20. This was almost 2 years ago and it works perfectly.

Try a Zojirushi rice cooker! It's the best if you eat rice often.
