@@patron40silver Your power rating is sky high & you've levelled up. I've been trying to reach you. Of course all the members are wonderful, but I love seeing Kanami playing the guitar while swinging her body. I feel sexy. The gesture of flipping her right hand up at the end of a riff or solo is also super cool.
MISA is the best bass player on the planet...period. Kanami is a musical genius. Akane beats those drums like they owe her money. Miku is coming into her own..the little pigeon is turning into a soaring eagle....Saiki is phenomenal and when her and Miku do harmonies, it's beautiful at best. Best band out there.....
Best band on the planet right now, doesn´t matter which genre, it´s overall... There are SO MANY reasons for it, that it´s FOR ME not even close to be honest...
Just discovered this song !!!!!! I thought From Now On was untouchable.....but this totally rocks....Love Miku's flying vee guitar.....and her rhythm skills blew me away!!!!!
Beyond her compositional skills and guitar playing, I just love the way Kanami moves to the music. It looks so liberating and there’s a certain elegance to her gestures and expressions. It’d probably be entertaining enough simply watching her strumming away at her guitar for hours on end. Definitely a great skillset to have esp. if she plans to branch out to solo projects in the future.
Misa has said in an interview that she holds the pick with her third finger when she switches to slapping and then she flips it back for more picking. She said it like it was simple, but I am amazed how fast and easy she makes it look. MISA, MISA, MISA!
They are all goddesses on their instruments and yet everything they do serves the song. A shout out to Akane, the bedrock of the band - brilliant, gifted, a beacon of heart, warmth and light. I adore her!! 🙌🙌💕💕

Nice to see them well lit so you can see just how hard they work. They keep up this work rate for a 2 hour concert. Who else can match their musicianship and endurance. Arkane must have legs of steel and Kanami never stops- riffs and shredding, Misa is outstanding and plays very complex bass lines and Miku is now a fully fledged guitarist. Who can match them?
Kanami is having so much fun in this MV :) When I listened to this song for the first time on my blu-ray player, my eyes went wet. I love this song so much and that taping chorus is freaking catchy! I can't wait to hear the "live on stage" version of DRAGON-MAID. And I need one of those Herman Li's "pedal fans" for this summer
Yeah man it amazes me how good Mika is at her rhythm and she’s beginning to play lead . When she’s only been playing for seven years . Konami is one hell of a teacher .
Totally agree. Notice how relaxed Miku is while she’s playing this; no longer is she having to intensely, and tensely, concentrate; she’s just playing and flowing with the music. She can now play everything in her sleep; it’s obvious she knows these parts backwards and forwards and is loving playing them perfectly. Awesome!!
I bought the CD and I'll literally rewind this song to hear that double bass petal. Even though I have heard this song nearly 100 times.(I haven't listen to the radio 6 weeks since I got the album, its just been on repeat
If you can find the Kanami focus for the song Giovanni (Instrumental) I highly suggest it. Watching it for the first time I cried out of adoration of just how masterful Kanami is...

I was going to point out that having used their amp stacks as background no one seems plugged in and where are the pedal boards - Kanami has a monster pedal board. But then just sit back and enjoy their wonderful talent, superb musicianship and as usual a joyous performance from a group of friends.

Miku got the Zemaitis V last April so she had time to work with it and get the desired tone. I think it's a safe bet that she got to work with them on design, seeing that they asked her if she wanted one of the new V models and they built the very first V model the company had ever built, FOR HER in their Custom shop, which I believe is in the US (can someone confirm?) as compared to their main production HQ in Japan. Since then she has her signature "Flappy Pigeon" model out for sale also, but this Zemaitis metal top flying V before that has Miku influence all over it. And as you noticed, the Pigeon is making good use of it!
In an interview MISA said she practices those runs until her hands bleed. She would only hope that fans appreciated her efforts. Me to MISA: I'm type O and I would gladly give a pint, or two, anytime. I just subbed because your "perspective" was so educational.
Yeah, she said that was when she was practicing slap bass ferociously to perfect her technique... and THEN they called her and said they had studio time. So what did she do? Like a true ninja assassin, no matter the pain, she went in and completed the mission ANYWAY. Perfectly of course. Misa ain't just posturing. She really IS that badass.

This video is from the bonus video for their latest album "Unseen World" for the Type A and B. Type C is only CD only and only contains the song in music file. The song was composed as a live only song for their concerts and first performed in early 2020. People only found out because someone actually filmed it secretly in Japan concert and uploaded it on TH-cam (they will confiscate your phone if you do in Japan) - people knew there maybe a new instrumental but wasn't confirmed then. It was NEVER issued as a song file in their albums until now. Band-Maid always play at least one instrumental song during their concerts. There are several now and most famous and first of which is "ONSET." There are a few others that they played that will never see the day on an album if ever. Yeah, you have to go to their live concerts to witness if lucky. "ONSET" was an instrumental that was captured on one of their official concert videos first. Then, they issued the song as a bonus for their two-singles pack ("Bubble" and "Glory") - needless to say it sold out quick. They also played the, fairly new then, instrumental "Don't Be Long" at their Gramercy Concert in NYC in 2019. I was at the concert. That song was issued as a B-side song for their recent single "Different". I have this album as well.
Their new album has a ton of fast paced tracks you might want to check out. "H-G-K" th-cam.com/video/o48Sgcxj_zY/w-d-xo.html And "Blackhole" th-cam.com/video/oMsCDPXZ_ug/w-d-xo.html But make sure your strapped in and hang on for dear life.
