  • Well, I always wanted to work with solar panels, especially power gadgets outdoors without having to run any wiring. I picked up a 10-watt panel made by Loomsolar to see what devices I can power using the energy from the sun. Let’s check it out.

      I want to power my home using solar panels, but they're so expensive. Hopefully it will get more efficient and also come down in price. 😅

    I want to use to to power 2.1 speaker system which I'll be mounting on my motorcycle for long rides, I don't want to mess it up with the original battery so just thinking about if one panels would be sufficient or do i need more of them!!
    Please reply.... it'll be revolutionary for me 😀

      Not very sure, what's the input voltage the speakers would draw. The sub woofer would draw the most compared to the speakers. The panel would need to charge up a battery and that should be used to power the speakers.

    nice. try not to block any part of the panel with your balcony railings.. shadow causes serious output drop. put it in front of the railing.

      I've done than now, it's installed in front of the railing and it's held on by duct tape from the back.

      I'm using a battery powered camera by active pixel, but it doesn't seem to be available anymore. There are new models available on Amazon now.

    Hi sir...i want to use 8mp camera...i want 2 days battery pack up... how many watts solar can buy and which battery i can buy

      If you can purchase a solar charge converter, you can use a 12V battery which should give you ample runtime. Not sure about the power requirements of your cctv camera. This article might be able to help you calculate the required panel and battery size. www.instructables.com/How-to-Solar-Power-Your-Home-Security-Camera/

    How can I add a battery pack for use during night? Pls guide

    • @TalkingstuffNet
      @TalkingstuffNet  ปีที่แล้ว

      The camera I'm using has batteries within, so they charge during the day and drain during the night. I tried a powerbank, but they tend to turn off after some time. There are continuous battery backs available which are used for dashcams etc. If it can be charged via the solar panel the battery will keep running.

    How long does it take to fully charge a smartphone?

    • @TalkingstuffNet
      @TalkingstuffNet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It can't fast charge, but depending on the size of the battery it can finish charging maybe in 2-5 hours😅. Mine has a 5000 mah battery and would take a couple of hours to charge to full. it's just emergency power but I wouldn't use it to charge your phone. I use it to charge my battery powered cctv camera and it charges during the day and uses its battery at night.

      Body resistance does not fall below about 500 ohms, most people have much much higher.
      5v can't put more than 10 ma into your body as a result. Unless directly into moist tissue. So you can’t be electrocuted.
      Regardless of the 3A max rating, the current is limited by the much higher body resistance.
