I have a stock 1971 which has slightly more HP than 1972. They're less than 200HP. Trucks today have twice the HP, are much more fuel efficient, have better brakes, better suspension and twice the GVWR. I love my '71 Custom Deluxe but I'm not kidding myself.

They aren’t anywhere near as reliable. We maintained the fuck out of that 2014 too. Ever since we fixed those problems it hasn’t had an issue other than saying “the oil is low” even though it’s completely full 💀. Sure it may be luck but man I tell ya. 460,000 lbs being pulled by a Chevy. It took Toyota until a year or two ago to be able to pull a 300,000 lbs shuttle

Chevy should have responded with their truck pulling three 747's, each with a shuttle on it's back.

The only thing I hated about Chevy were the sagging cab mounts. Mostly the square bodies.

After the square body era, GM is dead in my opinion. Those old Chevys were awesome.

Pre bailout cars were still good. Never like the squares though. I know a guy who has over 1,000,000 on a square gmc.
