I haven't heard of a variable framrate camera before but, here we are watching de-synced audio and peacefully drifting off to sleep with our earbuds about to choke us in the morning. I don't care about the camera honestly. Your videos are still (kiss) perfecto.

variable frame rate on the Pixel 3 isn't fun to deal with, buuut hey you're making lemonade with lemons! ...I think that's how it goes.... if you need something quick and easy, the problem could probably be solved with a different camera app like Open Camera that allows you to control the framerate might fix it? Granted you'll be loosing the (very little) amount of post the pixel does with videos, but I doubt you'd notice the difference. Don't know if this would work but it'd be interesinng to try out
Unfortunately it's built into the firmware, the default camera has a setting to turn off variable frame rate but it doesn't work :/ the lighting dictates the fps, and any changes will also change fps.

I mean if you ever feel like you don't need to worry about the warranty or whatever you can root your phone to get rid of it, but eh, aw well. The way Snowball makes his thumbnails: Get as close to the camera as physically possible. I feel like eventually one thumbnail is just going to be the pupil of one of the eyes.

TH-cam decided that they will be adding their own ads on top of what I request. So mid roll ads might just happen even though I don't have them enabled. Id recommend downloading the videos to watch offline if ads hit you often
