So many parents do that. Including mine. It’s pathetic. All there personal problems are all cus of me . Whatever , put more weight on my shoulders I’ll only grow stronger that’s how I see it
I haven’t watched the whole episode yet, but I like how the second dad explains his whole thought process for why things aren’t ok and what he feels and treats them with respect even when they aren’t being respectful back. I like how honest he is
The difference is this generations parents are ok with what they’re doing and wouldn’t care to help due to their parents (gen x) having horrible parenting skils

watching this just makes my happy at the fact both of those kids could bond and be friends so atleast they had someone to talk to and not be stuck with strangers 😭
the problem with this show is that its purely for the spectacle. In 8 days they arent gonna change or learn anything. And they purposely put them with radically different people just for the spectacle of conflict, not to help them.
The audacity of them first strict parents to lecture those teens about being "immature" when the dad was in the wrong for getting in that teenage lads' face, he shouldn't have spoke rudely to the strict mom but at the same time the strict dad shouldn't get in his face, he should've explained to him on how he shouldn't speak to people that way
Also, he forced him to refer to him as dad when the man knew he grew up without his father and communicated to him he just wasn't comfortable with the term "dad" kind of bugged me.
i feel like the second parents shouldnt raise their own kids like that. Its unhealthy with the restrictions but this type of parenting is perfect to have kids w bad habits turned around for their own good. i hope i made sense
they were nice people and i really truly believe they had good intentions, but they were definitely went about it the wrong way and took too much control of their children.

So many parents do that. Including mine. It’s pathetic. All there personal problems are all cus of me . Whatever , put more weight on my shoulders I’ll only grow stronger that’s how I see it
@Ariel737 I hope you are doing well and it has definitly made you stronger. Sad that it happens in the first place
The immediate “we’ve done every grounding and punishment imaginable” straight away just proves the kids needed help not punishment
I haven’t watched the whole episode yet, but I like how the second dad explains his whole thought process for why things aren’t ok and what he feels and treats them with respect even when they aren’t being respectful back. I like how honest he is
WHY DID THE FIRST EPISODES DAD GEG IN HIS FACE WHEN HE WAS JUST TRYING TO THEM TO NOT REFER AS HIS PARENTS CAUSE THEY ARENT.
That’s just mad weird ew
right. they’re so power hungry its insanee.
@@kas27they are narcissistic
@_destinyjYes the children were extreme narcissists.
Man I just can’t tell you how much I wish they did this show on this generations youths. I’d be GLUED to it.
The difference is this generations parents are ok with what they’re doing and wouldn’t care to help due to their parents (gen x) having horrible parenting skils
yes i’m 17 and based off the ppl i’ve met i KNOW it would be wilddd
@@zbelle18 ikrrrr
@@ken-qx9jwI'd say all generations of parents had common problems in their parenting styles
@@ken-qx9jwtbh I’d say ‘this generation’s’ parents are more so millennials now than gen x
First family were hypocrites who had no respect for either teen but demanded it from them. They pissed me off.
the second family is definitely sheltering their kids too much, BUT they actually teach them trust and respect the way its meant to be taught. the first family tries to do that but they are not doing it right 😭 getting all up in their kids face and yelling is so disgusting, and they arent even their kids
the dad was hella creepy with the girl istg

@@CB1_420how
first two aint even that bad. i would be friends with them tbh, they just seem like they need some guidence and support
I will never understand why parents don't question themselves, even when their kids are flinching at their physical threats.
okay love the first girl, yeah she has an attitude problem but literally why are adults ALL UP ON HER. TOUCHIN HER. IN HER FACE. i understand why shes annoyed and grossed out and not listening lmaoo shes iconic 2
Nah, because Bex and Chezden were so sick. Like why were they so hated?
ikk they were js misunderstood imo 😓
@@bonnyi5no they were assholes
@@cashivysthey’re reckless teens in the 2000s, they’re not going to be angels, just don’t push adult expectations on teens.
First dad rules through fear, second dad rules through love, I know which one I'd choose.
Im very interested to hear how these kids (now adults) are doing now.
chez is actullay doing really good now if you look him up
@@sky_-_- what's his social?
@@CybervDoll dont remember it was awhile ago try looking him up
@CybervDoll you can just search up his name on Google. It's Chezdan Mills
Both chez and Bex are doing well! Bex rides horses and I believe chez makes films?
Maturing is realizing most of the kids weren't that bad and just needed therapy and the families they went to were usually toxic and lowkey emotionally abusive
the first familt is abusive stright up, they have no respect for their struggles and just get in their face and punish them
I feel terrible for there children they have no freedom :(
the fact the second pair of kids were so happy when the father that they were staying with said "i'm so proud of you guys. You guys are so awesome" speaks volumessss 1:23:25
watching this just makes my happy at the fact both of those kids could bond and be friends so atleast they had someone to talk to and not be stuck with strangers 😭
My heart goes out to the first two kids, I hope they found happiness and good health
I believe they have, they both seem to be doing amazing, especially Bex, she now rides horses and looks happy doing that
the problem with this show is that its purely for the spectacle. In 8 days they arent gonna change or learn anything. And they purposely put them with radically different people just for the spectacle of conflict, not to help them.
Welcome to 2000s television, it’s all about the spectacle
The audacity of them first strict parents to lecture those teens about being "immature" when the dad was in the wrong for getting in that teenage lads' face, he shouldn't have spoke rudely to the strict mom but at the same time the strict dad shouldn't get in his face, he should've explained to him on how he shouldn't speak to people that way
Also, he forced him to refer to him as dad when the man knew he grew up without his father and communicated to him he just wasn't comfortable with the term "dad" kind of bugged me.
She told her own child WHO WAS GRIEVING THE LOSS OF HER BROTHER that she wishes she had died instead?!? That’s no mother. Bex deserves better
The second parents were so lovely 😭😭
fr 😭😭
i feel like the second parents shouldnt raise their own kids like that. Its unhealthy with the restrictions but this type of parenting is perfect to have kids w bad habits turned around for their own good. i hope i made sense
@@BennyJaber-mx4njperfect sense its too much protection and control how will they cope in the real world !
they were nice people and i really truly believe they had good intentions, but they were definitely went about it the wrong way and took too much control of their children.
@@paranoidandroidd00Definitely, I feel like controlling what music your child listens to is way too restrictive. They aren’t letting their children be themselves.
'Don't worry I'm not gonna bum in your house.' Wow.
that made me giggle
I don't understand why they get in the teens face?? Also the room inspections is crazy!!
I understand room inspection, but the whole getting in the face is wild to me.
@@ghst-kx9pp yeah, the face thing is what ticked me off.
watching this is SOOO INFURIATING 20 minutes in and i had to go and walk around the house to take the anger off LOL
You can tell the first girl just needed someone to talk to because when she got in trouble on the first day of school she was talking to the administrator about how she felt
I want one where the two kids fall in love when there in the strict home 😂
i think there was actually an episode of that, where they went to nigeria i think
😂 lol@bonnyi5
it's so telling that when bex sat down with the teacher and just talked she was so much more relaxed and well-mannered. they just need to talk.
"Wait you guys arent ashamed of who you are and what you do? How strange."
also them.
"You make me physically sick to the point that I cannot eat. I am disgusted with you and find you wretched."
hearing that the first mother said to bex "i wish it was you that died instead" is so horrible, the poor girl is clearly struggling and needs support but she just isnt getting it.
first parents were horrible. the boy wasn't even that bad besides the cigarettes.
also he’s addicted, nicotine withdrawal can be really hard if you’re not ready for it (and you don’t use any nicotine replacement therapy products)
@@jestemreality560it’s super sad because when he went down the street to smoke he was shaking so I could tell he was struggling.
the letter that bex's parents sent her was honestly disgusting and it's clear it's not just her fault of how she turned out. The scenes of her with the teacher were heart warming
the kids in the first one i would at least give them some sort of patch or nic gum cause with out that and for people who have not smoked. it is so hard cause of the draw backs so i kinda feel bad for the first kids
Depending on how long you’ve been doing nicotine, it can also be dangerous to quit cold turkey
the dad did offer to buy them gum at the very beginning of the video
@@kyuutii_Honestly, smoking straight cigs feels better to me than nic gum lol They put small pieces of glass in it to cut the inside of your mouth so that the nicotine can get into your system
??? i thought it was absorbed sublingually/through your mouth walls idfk
That is so gross the dead baby pig part thank goodness I never had to go through that in school .
We had choices to choose our classes .
I honestly think the second parents were actually so sweet and very patient
The guy in the second video with glasses (the dad) is an amazing human being!!
clearly both the children are struggling mentaly, there was defintly an easier and more healthier way then dumping them into this.
i think i know the sauce for ur pfp
Chez is literally shaking almost the whole time from nicotine withdrawal; this is freaking awful
Ches and Bex have guts
theyre an iconic duo 😂❣
"We all came back here and we got really drunk and ended up having (naughty naughty) with each other we filmed it on uhh my camera"
Camera man really gives no f's about this i guess he does get paid enough for this.
Time stamp pleaseee😭
I wish I could meet the first teens they seem like such fun people to be around and I love that they were just ignoring the rules together.
My heart breaks for Becks. Her mother abandoned her when she needed her most. I know that parents losing their children are barely functioning but telling your surviving teenage child you wish they were gone instead of the brother is so heartless and traumatising. I hope that girl gets the help she needs.
i just know after watching tthis im going to watch EVERY OTHER episode 🤣
how come? XD im one episode in rn
Ah man, the nostalgia hurts. I miss those days so bad 😭😭
“I doubt you opened your bag and that much smoke came out of your bag” 🤣🤣
The fact that Becks mother has told her that she wishes she died instead of her brother is so disgusting. No wonder the poor child is going to run away from this pain and be with her friends.
Wow Bex mother her letrer was the worst letter ever on this show 😢.
Poor girl she need more guides / therapie and her mother too.

I don’t like how the first parents kept calling his father that’s not in his life his father Ben tho he made it obvious he didn’t like when they did so
they jst had no respect for his boundaries🥲i felt so bad for him
i wonder how these "teenagers" look now lol i really want to see specially the first ones
