Actually the camera lucida is a really old drawing tool, even been used by the most advanced artists as an assistent for acurately drawing complex scenes with complex perspective. Although the original camera lucida used specal lenses instead of a simple two way mirror, but costs a fortune or an optician as a friend. 😢
