For exams, do practice questions and study procedures. If you think it will not be on the test, it will be so study it. The clinicals for first semester are easy. Focus on patient interaction and practicing assessments. For lab, practice the procedure at home and read through the steps as many times as you can. Don’t give up! hey! absolutely, there is time for social life. you have to of course prioritize school during the short time it lasts, but if you don’t include anything fun in the mix, your whole experience can quickly get overwhelming. it’s all about balance! i say enjoy free time, but make sure that your school work is priority
