Man i am new to the game and itˋs overwhelming. My first dino is a hatz on the official server at adolescent stage. But i haven‘t engaged in any fights because i dont know how and against what dino i can win and against which i have no chance. And i don‘t know any of there attacks, streangths or weaknesses.
@ thx mate, got my first kills today, even tho only a smaller dino and one on low health but ill take it lol. Your videos certainly help getting some idea how to engage a fight.
I've hunted plenty of raptors & megs, never have any issues with them. They're quite easy to deal with if anything. Based on what you are saying it sounds like you are not utilizing your precise turn properly hence why they might be too fast for you. 👍
Personally, I let them be. Don't gotta butt into every single fight you see. If I'm solo and wish to engange a challenging hunt against a group, randoms butting in are extremely annoying. Common problem on officials.

I've come to find out that hatz can't kill raptors or megs. They are just to small and too fast. D:
