For those of you who have asked "What about the V35?!" Here's a video comparing the G7 to the V35, check it out! th-cam.com/video/nApto1ANFPA/w-d-xo.html
I personally think it's a good thing that LG has lower brand recognition. It means you can get devices for incredible value for money (i.e no way in hell the S9 is worth double the price of a discounted G7. Absolutely not.)
LG needs to get rid of their whole Marketing Team and replace them with people who really knows how to market their products.... and improve their Customer Service exponentially....
Good luck with the no coverage. I know Sprint advertise 1% in Verizon. But you will soon see that's no true. Yes they are cheaper but not the best. But you probably already know this? 🤔
Francisco Guthrie sprint is pretty good don’t really have coverage problems for most parts it suffers mainly if you live out of the city but sprint plans are great hulu free n premiem tidal I personally like it not really much to complain about the service
Save your money DO NOT get the G7, the v-line is hands down better then the G. The v30 is cheaper and packs more camera features then the G7 plus it has a brighter & better screen. The v30 has a OLED while the G7 has LCD screen, my friend has the g7 & my screen is brighter then hers even with the new brightness feature. On another note a lot of reviewers aren't saying this but while recording on the G7, you can't switch from normal to wide angle. You legit have to stop recording then switch to wide angle, on top of that it's not as wide as the v30.
Wide Angle Cam, Quality DAC, Headphone Jack, Great Speaker, Super bright screen option, SD Card, FM Radio, Waterproofing, Great Build Quality (MIL-STD-810G compliant) Bluetooth 5, Fingerprint Scanner, Wireless Charging... ticks so many boxes, great job LG.
Alex Alex the camera is up par with pixel 2xl..its just lG processing software. Hardware is better than the pixel. Try installing the Pixel hdr+ camera app..
Alex Alex I think the camera is great, I take a lot more pictures than. I used too before I owned it, it captures the colour of the picture and I was really impressed.
LG is always on the first of my list when looking I fell in love with the g2 ever since then I've only got lg, they have great features and many go unnoticed, they have a weak marketing campaign (loved the Jason Statham ad for g5) and the name of the G7 is kinda a turn off but it's still a great device I'd buy.
same thing very first smart phone was my g2, then i went to a non flagship, then i missed lg and went back, then i washed it with my sheets and went non flagship again for almost 2 years and im back with the g7 and i couldn't be happier.
I've had this phone for literally a week - 7 days, and so far I'm happy with it. Its speaker, though mono, has enough bass when you're holding it. Just imagine the bass when you lay it flat on the table. My last phone was a Sony XZ. I got it thinking the stereo speakers would blow me away. Instead, it blew my top because the speakers on them were tinny even on max vol.
I will continue to buy lg phones as long as they provide a wide angle shooter as opposed to an utterly useless portrait mode like other devices. You're right about the pricing tho, I'm holding out for a discount while I rock my still amazing g6.
I picked up a brand new, unopened LG G7 locked to tmobile for $450 on ebay...you just gotta search around... And before anyone says anything about it being a scam.. It's what I'm using to type this haha.. Works perfectly fine!
I love this phone. I've had it for two days & it was worth my money. Now, I cracked down on Apple about their notch but seeing the X in person along with the G7 it's actually a pretty add on & gives an extra bit of screen real estate. The constant LG skin complaint is something I can't understand, like what is it about stock android? I usually get used to a company's software & it overall grows on me.
Oh hey! Hope you enjoyed the video 👍🏻 Just moved into a new space (if you couldn't tell), but we'll be back with more consistent uploads starting next week. (Apartment tour? Yeah?!)
Just bought G7 fit. Show me another phone that has IP 68 and passed millitary standart test for that money and that doesn't look and feels like a clumsy brick. So far I am really satisfied with that model.
I pre-ordered my LG G7 when I saw it featured on my providers site. It's the second phone I've ever owned and a huge upgrade from the LG Nexus 5. I love it so much and it holds a lot for what I use it for.
I've been hanging on to my G4 for years because the combination of camera and software are the best I've ever seen. Maybe it was an accident? Because the G5 and G6 seemed to lose something. Is the G7 the G4 upgrade I've been waiting for? I'd love to live in a world without boot-loop, but if I'm going to ditch my beloved G4, it needs to be worth it!
I think the G7 is a stellar upgrade. BUT if you can jump to the V35 - do it. Wait a couple more months for the price to go down (second-hand like Swappa/eBay) and it would be a perfect LG phone. Even if the V40 comes out in October like its being rumored lol
I had the G4 for a long time too. I made the the switch to the G7 and I'm really happy about it. It definetly feels familiar to the G4, I don't think you will miss anything. Software and Camera are great, too. The Google Assistant Button is something I use all the time, to set a timer or for a quick google search. Netflix and TH-cam are a pleasure to watch. I'd say "Go for it'"
the v-line packs more features and you get more bang for your buck then the G-line tbh. During recording on the G7 you can't switch to wide angle like you can the v30, also on another note the v30 has a brighter and better screen then the g7. If you need a phone now get the v30 it has the same AI feature of the g7, if not wait for the V40.
Currently writing this comment via my LG G7+ Thinq. It's an awesome phone. If you ask where i got the "+" version, it's from online. That's the international version by the way.
It's tall aspect ratio that gives you a large screen but still keeping the phone narrow is it's best feature that no one talks about. I think the galaxies are too wide.
Yeah, the S9 is more narrow. And I may be a little bias (just went from an S7 to the G7) but I dont like the height of this screen. When I watch videos in landscape theres a decent size black chunk to the left or right of them! Also a variety of other little things I'm missing from my S7, but overall it's obviously an upgrade. Took the G7 mainly due to a promotion thing that made it a little cheaper than the S9. Also I don't really like that samsung is only doing curved screens now (even though OLED looks great imo)
Unknown it is but also i have heard from many people that LG is like the worst when it comes to phones but i think those people are just Samsung or Apple fanboys
Really makes the difference in UI. I've been a Nova prime user since 2012, and every time I try a different launcher I always find myself going back to Nova.
I have the G6 , got it for a mere 499 brand new, it works great never an issue, was going to trade it in for the new Galaxy s10, but changed my mind as this phone works great still, battery life is still very good and movies are crisp and clean. LG is terribly underrated and for the bulk of smartphone users it can't be beat.
I just ordered one, pickin it up on Tuesday. I'm Finally going from HP Elite X3 Windows Phone to The LG G7 ThinQ. I can't wait. I had the V20 between Windows Phones for 7 months and Loved it. I wanted to get my twins this phone but they said they would throw it away. They want iCrap but I will give the the S9 instead. The only one in this family who gets iCrap is mom. She will not cross over.
Sony has had my heart (and money) for over a decade. The pixel 2 xl was the first venture away from sony and the horrible grainy screen immediately had me returning that device. I'm now waiting for my G7 to come in the mail and im hoping it would give me everything sony had to offer and then some
Right now, I own a G6+, I've been in love with LG since the G3, and it's so underrated. I've got my phone at 490 with 128 Gb of internal, took amazing wide angle pictures and wouldn't change it for other brand
Bought mine June 23rd , after a month it still runs great and does everything I need to do on a daily basis ,and the high brightness and boom box speaker are my most used features on the phone
I bet the people who had bootloop issues and didnt get resolution won't forget, nor should they. Bootlooping in LG was a multi year multiphone issue that only got resolved because of a class action lawsuit. It wasn't like oh gee we messed up we are so sorry...
It's a well rounded phone. A fine candidate to replace my htc 10. Has everything I want in a phone, great LCD and fine audio. But the problem beside notch, glass back and 3000 mAh is that 10 is still strong, totally fine and 2019 phones with faster RAM, memory, 5g and 7nm processor are just around the corner.... PS. The best thing about G7 is that most called it boring. Trust me, when elitists call one phone boring, go straight for it. It means it does everything right. I hesitated for htc 10 in 2016, it got same etiquette, but the phone turned to be perfect in every single way and totally better than the best review of it. Lesson learned.
Na bro you will be amazed how bad the cam is, if you come frome htc it will bother you big time, if you dont care about the csm i guess it is a good buy
@@weltvonalex I was never buying all the htcs bcs of camera:) on the contrary, I enjoyed them in everything else that disappeared. Now you have empty cold, IP68 htc phones with awesome camera and squeezing function that noone cares for. Everything else that I loved is gone. No, audio is for me what camera is for most. Camera is the least important for me, and every single, even the worst flagship camera is more than good enough for me. Phone cameras are so over hyped and every single is flawed objectively in some aspect. Cameras and glass destroyed smartphones.
I love LG phones! Feature packed, superb DAC, headphone jack, etc. I just might get the V50 when it comes out. My only complaint is LG, like Samsung, is extremely slow updating their phones!
Bro u hit it on the money i've been with lg since the g3 and honestly have no reason to switch....there phones were always solid....But lg them selves in my opinion has been going thru an identity crisis outta this 🌎.....And hopefully they can right the ship and actually do something groundbreaking like use 2...
The previous phone I owned was an LG G3. While this phone is a lot older than the G7, at the time it was a flagship, and LG were just starting to come up in the smartphone game. I decided to go for it, as I was really impressed by the features and the price it went for that the time. I also really liked the design. The phone was great in every respect, always reliable as well as LG's intuitive nifty features they embed in their software (only LG users will know what I'm talking about). However, after just over a year of use (I'd say about a year and four months), I started experiencing problems with it. Every now and again, the phone would just start to reboot randomly. After this, things started going downhill for my device. Reboots increased and battery came to a point where I needed to carry a powerbank with me at all times because my battery was dying down so quick. The battery eventually started to sell, and I had to buy a new battery. This fixed the problem temporarily, but after about a month, the problems slowly but surely started again. My device would restart at anytime, including during important phonecalls and when I needed it. It all came to a stop one day when the phone eventually stopped going on at all. I changed the battery, but nothing, and it hasn't been on since. This was really upsetting because I had lost all my Data that was on that phone Including pics, contacts etc. Apparently it was a common problem on the G3, and for this reason I am highly reluctant to take another LG device. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Or have LG sorted out their issues? Please do let me know 👍
I don't know what version of G7 you have, but mine (with screen on) only lasts 6 hours and 45 minutes (or less), for me it's weak and i think it's fault of Android Oreo (and the 3000 maH battery), other phones like the p20 pro, gave 8 hours or so of screen on.
Completely agree with u .. Being a an LG fan myself, i am currently using LG V20 and it is a solid phone. LG makes durable phones and its priced lower than other brands which makes their phones more valuable.
Hoodie Boy me, the only problem i am having is in selfie mode the pic is way too close up 0.0 i was reading about a potential update to bring it "back" I had the v10 and I'm considering getting the v40
I had a note 8 and switched to this phone. I love having a properly placed fingerprint scanner again. DAC is my favorite feature of the new phone. Makes a noticeable difference with decent headphones. Speaker is really good and loud when you crank it up. Putting it on a table makes it even louder but is rarely going to give a good viewing angle... If they had a second speaker this would really stand out. Although the battery life is ok I would have preferred they go a little thicker and give a little larger battery. I do worry about how battery life will be a year or two later and would have liked the extra buffer. LG's promo right now for $100 of free accessories let me get a case and screen protector and basically avoid that cost with a new phone. Overall, I am a week in and very happy with the new phone.
Great video - subscribed! Kudos to mentioning LG's less-than-average track record with phones, especially when mentioning the boot loop (it happened to two LG G4's that I own...)
Through work I could have picked any phone on Verizon, and I picked the G7 over Samsung flagships and the Pixel. No regrets. The other day I had a 7 hour conference call, on speakerphone, and constantly checking mail and referencing articles on the web. Battery was still at 27% at the end of the day. Brilliant device!
I have been using LG G5 for ~2 years now, however current LG G5 is going to be my last LG phone. One of the main reason being late OS update. Although two OS updates were promised, my phone is still running on Android 7.0 while rest of the world is already at 9. And if I'm not wrong even G7 ThinQ is running on only Android 8.0 and not 9?
I bought a G7 too. I've been an LG dedicated and satisfied client since the G3. I'm amazed the completeness of premium features, the lightness and beauty of this phone. Best smartphone ever, as for me
The G7 marks my return to Android after being away from the OS since the iPhone 4 and I have to say I really like this phone. My wife and I are very happy with it. There is room for improvement of course but overall it's a good phone with many cool features.
I worked in the only Sprint call center in the US for sales, the reason it doesn't sell is because nobody sells it, they just get people the phone that they wanted when they walked in or called in, rather than push them towards any other phones.
So I can get this phone and the LG G7 ThinQ from Sprint for $480 each. On the spec sheets, the G7 looks superior except shipping with Android 8.0, having a LED screen (Pixel has AMOLED), and 3a XL has a 3700 mAh battery. I'm upgrading from a Galaxy S6 (Can't stand the battery life any longer) Which phone should I buy?
My friend doesn’t have a (used to have a blackberry he got from work but he changed jobs) smartphone, next week is is birthday, so I got him a case,a screen protector, and the LG G7 ThinQ(on sprint, and with everything included in the box)along with having smart launcher pro preloaded on it....I hope he likes it
I haven't replaced my phone because it has never given me problems. I still have my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with 10000 zero lemon battery replacement. I also maxed out my storage with 256 gigs. I never wanted to dish out $800-$1000 for a new one. This phone is half that price $399 and it's performance is better than what I have now. I don't play very many games on my phone anynore, so I will get the zero lemon for this from Asia, max out the storage again and I think I'll be good for another 3 to 4 years. What's the support like on these phones like software updates etc?
Ive had my G7 since release and its Absoulty amazing. Ive never had any issues with it what so ever in almost the year i have had it. ( except I dropped it with the case on it. But it landed on a rock on the finger print scanner and it destroyed the back glass. But no biggie doesnt effect the phone
I've read tons of reviews only to find that there really isn't much disparity from one flagship phone to the next. Yes there on some intricate details and features here and there and that is likely all that is needed to influence ones decision. For me personally it all came down to value. I had a offer from my provider where they were practically giving away the LG G7 ThinQ and that made it a no brainer to at least give it the 14-day trial. Needless to say I'm sold on the G7 and won't be looking back until upgrade time rolls around again. As long as the software and hardware components hold up I doubt I'll be having any qualms about my decision. At full price yes the G7 might not look the most attractive but at the heavy discount this phone is being offered at some providers at the moment, this phone packs a serious punch pound-for-pound!
Well done... Right on target with the comment on their timing. Everyone's that into tech knows to just wait a couple of months after a new LG phone drops and get it half off.
Great review! I had such a great experience with the G6, and can't wait to get my hands on this beauty. Got the OnePlus 6, which is a beast, but my eyes can't stand the PWM on the OLED screen. LCD's much easier on the eyes.
Always loved the under appreciated features of LG coming from the G2 right up to a V20 now. Waiting to see how the V40 is to make a decision between it and this
I saw it live today and i fall in love, and right now it's almost at the same price that op6 and this new budget flagships, very good performance, stunning design, sd card, audio jack, the only thing i miss it's hdmi support, wich my lg g4 had, i don't know why lg remove that after the v30 when others are encouraging this, Samsung Dex or Huawei pc mode.
I truely Liked this review i think you nailed the most important aspects of what makes the G7 ThinQ a Great Flagship Phone i honestly value soo much the effort and the Quality of the Audio on this Phone is Just AMAZING i had the ThinQ and the Note 9 both for a Week i could have picked any of both but i went with the G7 and dont regret it at all i Love The G7 its just such an overall Great Phone Boombox Speaker is really usefull and really good LG Diserves Alot More Recognition
I hesitantly went from a Samsung s7 edge to a LG G7; no buyers remorse here. It's a great phone that reminds me of another great flag ship phone in its heyday: HTC M8.
The g7 is awesome. I've had this for 7 months now and ZERO problems. However, I don't use Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram or any other type of social media at all. My wife does and her phones will start acting "funny" after 6 months (Samsung). I use it as my wallet, jukebox, TV, book, remote (for everything), widescreen camera and phone. I still feel as excited about it as the day I got it! I'll use this phone for as long as possible.
G7 or S9? I was looking for a change, after having samsung basically my whole life. I bought the G6, but something in their display wasnt good for me, it gives me headache, thats why I swtiched back to Samsung. Any recommendations, G7 or S9?
A W Wtf? Stop saying shit! GS9+ is better than p20 pro! Better display and better speakers and much better looking and faster gpu and CPU ! It's not all about the camera so stfu.. And the camera is better in s9 to me
CIA 4GENT the camera on the s9 ( plus ) is not even close to the p20 pro and when you hold them both on your hand s9 + look outdated design is horrible look similar if not worse to their cheap j phones .
MarkDaNerd opinions are like assholes everyone has one . Don't judge based on waht uou hear I am sure you won't say that after you can experience both phones anyways in the p20 pro you can hide the notch in the setting and you will never notice it's even there .
MarkDaNerd Hahaha the ugly P20 pro has a notch and big ass chin too lol..I really don't see what the point of having a notch when there's big ass fucking chin with home button lol...S9 is much better looking
Well put. Yet, as opposed to LG’s poor timing and subpar marketing, it is deserving to call-out the buzz/rip off attitude from the part of the big names out there + the abject mouthpiece attitude from certain TH-camrs + the naive attitude from the masses. Cheers. George from Hellas.
My gf has a Iphone X. She paid over 1k for it. I just bought this phone on Ebay new for $350 and I like it so much more than an X. It has voice unlock, finger print password log in, and the display is beautiful. My only complaint is that it's advertise as 4k but it's actually only 1440p (2k). It's still higher than an X which is only 1080p.
I have used many LG phones and all of them had the same issue, the soldering of the processor or the memory module. So, I'm not going to spend my money on a phone that resist only 1 year. On the other side, the software is great!
Thanks for a great reveiw. Quick question.. Does it hang when you are using Outlooks and other office apps? I have ordered this today and now worried about RAM capacity.. I don't want my phone to freeze frequently while working on multiple apps.
Have had the G7 about two weeks now and totally agree with your review an excellent phone that is under-rated, and yes the wide angle camera should be on all phones, get rid of some of the other phone bullshit (like colouring your photo sepia) and get wide angle. Very happy with purchase, I am over Samsung.
Where'd you get a 6GB version? Only 4 in mine. Coming from a phone with 6GB, I definitely notice the difference in apps reloading. It IS a good phone, it just doesn't have much that launch it ahead of literally any other flagship. The audio is the exception. The boomsound stuff is legit. And headphone jacks are still on my must have list.
Apparently North America is only getting the 4GB variant - the international one has 6GB/128GB storage AND dual sim! Too bad I couldn't get that one. I love dual sim phones.
I got it since release, mostly because it was so similar to my old Galaxy S7. I always loved the glass back (the design on the heels was very similar too) and felt premium to hold. But yes they need to release next to a flagship at a very competitive price (they always have the 2 for 1, might as well half the price).
Very nice video and agree with all your points. I own the V30S ThinQ launched this year in March. One little clarification about the ThinQ branding, is that it doesn't tie into the AI side of the camera, at all. ThinQ (known by its full name of LG Smart ThinQ) is a new approach to connectivity between LG devices, and home appliances. For example, there are washing machines, fridges, and TVs with the ThinQ technology baked in, which means you can control them with your smartphone. They are advertising their connectivity to other devices LG builds, but they are doing a very poor job at exposing any other markets outside their own to that aspect. There was some effort to raise awareness in that regard in Canada I believe, when LG was also offering a free 32 inch ThinQ TV to any customer who pre-ordered the G7 if my memory serves right. While the name ThinQ is questionable at best by western standards, you have to keep in mind the Korean culture and the fact that Koreans design things firstly for themselves, and then share them with the world. That is to say, they might use a name that makes a lot of sense in the Korean society/market (pronounced Sin-Q for them) but little sense on the western market, and not care about it that much. Samsung, is somewhat nonconformist to this (by choice) with names like "Galaxy" and "Note", in order to be accepted on the western market which worked wonders for them.
I totally agree with you........all the good work of LG gets unnoticed and it is very sad that something which is really very good does not get attention and things like samsung and iphones are boomed LG has to seriously focus on their marketing startegy
Azeem Quadri I use Greenify. I hibernate every app, especially any app that uses GPS. I limit app permissions to only those that allow me to use an app, not just go with the default permissions
No one can answer these questions I have. Hopefully you can. 1. Does it record 4k60fps video? 2. Do the microphones have concert mode like my V30 where it uses earpiece as mic when you are in very loud environments?
I’m definitely getting this as an upgrade to my G5! I’m in no hurry since I also rock the V30 on Verizon! The V30 is worlds better than the S8 and Note 8. I have co-workers with those phones and they both have horrible looking screen burn-in! Lol, my V30 screen looks like I just pulled it out of the box and I’ve had it since November, I always go 100% brightness on my screen too!
I bought my G7 instead the apple Xs becaise Xs would not work with my external DAC. The DAC chip used in the G7 is the same DAC used in McIntosh and $3500 Sennheiser headphone amplifiers.
For those of you who have asked "What about the V35?!" Here's a video comparing the G7 to the V35, check it out!

I picked up a brand new, unopened LG G7 locked to tmobile for $450 on ebay...you just gotta search around... And before anyone says anything about it being a scam.. It's what I'm using to type this haha.. Works perfectly fine!
Koigokorootaku46 you would have gotten the 4gb and 64 gb.. Indian unit is 6gb and 128 gb for 550usd
Tushar Mittal doesn't matter.. Still got the phone for much less than MSRP.. Don't really care about that much GB
@@Koigokorootaku46 I believe it a g6 goes for less than 200 and it's only 1 year old
I love this phone.
Hows snapchat lookin on there??
My g7 over 3 years old. Still works perfect.
I think a large amount of people who'll buy it will be from the LG X BTS ad ^^; I want one because of that too
Geovanny Exparza yup. Me too! The power of ARMY
Spotted
Me too lol
me too lol once I have enough money 😩 I really need a new phone anyways so it's perfect timing
Geovanny Exparza That's a dumb reason, but at least they advertised a good phone
I pre-ordered my LG G7 when I saw it featured on my providers site. It's the second phone I've ever owned and a huge upgrade from the LG Nexus 5. I love it so much and it holds a lot for what I use it for.
I have both the s9 and the g7 and I prefer the g7 any day
Therican 87 really i have the G6 and Im in love😍and I Like the S9, but for you the G7 is better??
@@laurarodriguez752 yes. I had the g6 and it just didn't do it for me. the G7 is wonderful
How is the battery life of the G7?
@@soundped it is surprisingly good
Excuse me, could you tell me about low light performance of the camera? Some Advices to take the great shots?
I went from G4 to G7. They both absolutely kick ass!
I found out about this phone thanks to BTS and it seems to be a really good phone to upgrade from my s6!
Currently writing this comment via my LG G7+ Thinq. It's an awesome phone. If you ask where i got the "+" version, it's from online. That's the international version by the way.
I thinQ this video is GREAT !!
Hey thanks!
Joke of the year.....
I thinkQ for your comment
It's tall aspect ratio that gives you a large screen but still keeping the phone narrow is it's best feature that no one talks about. I think the galaxies are too wide.
S9 is more narrow. S9+ is 1 mm thicker.
I am still using a LG G6
Aleksandar Savevski its still a good phone
Unknown it is but also i have heard from many people that LG is like the worst when it comes to phones but i think those people are just Samsung or Apple fanboys
Mine is so slow now
Brad Huddleson try reseting it by that i mean delete everything from your phone
Kinda was like that since I got it. Also people can't hear me during phone calls very well.
Slap on Nova Prime...boom...Major Go...
That's the move right there 👍🏻
Really makes the difference in UI. I've been a Nova prime user since 2012, and every time I try a different launcher I always find myself going back to Nova.
@@chefbigjay4154 I rock nova on my bone stock Android phone because it looks better
My v30 is multimedia monster, still no one can compete with v30 in multimedia category. No one does better camera, audio, video combo then lg
Best phone by far, I've been using it for a week and I have to admit that there is no lag 😊
Such a solid phone, glad you’re enjoying it too! 👍🏻

Love this phone! switched from my galaxy s9 but i feel no need what so ever going back to samsung, that wide angle cam is defs one of my faves feature
I thought the G7 only had 4gb of ram?
My Tech Life It does...G7+ has 6gb
64GB version has 4gb, while the 128GB has 6
T-mobile has 6gb of ram.
@@MrYAZZ-hl7pw no it doesn't and i have the TMobile version. The 6gb version isn't in the U.S
There are different versions. LG sold only 6GB RAM variant with 128Gb for almost a year India before launching the cheaper 4+64 version
Totally agree! Super underrated phones that seem to die before they have a chance to thrive. They could easily compete with any other flagship
My G3 is still running great now
The previous phone I owned was an LG G3. Please do let me know 👍
Excellent battery life? Everybody else says that's the weak point of this phone.
TomDeath95 those people are stupid
I have the phone and the battery life is pretty good to me, lasts me the entire day while using reddit and snapchat
I'm getting 8+ hrs screen on time from a single charge out of mine. The battery life is one of the major strong points
I'm a heavy vid. User on any phone and I get a whole day an my G7
I don't know what version of G7 you have, but mine (with screen on) only lasts 6 hours and 45 minutes (or less), for me it's weak and i think it's fault of Android Oreo (and the 3000 maH battery), other phones like the p20 pro, gave 8 hours or so of screen on.
Had a G3, now a G5. Will definitely get the G7 this year. Wide angle camera is so useful!
Completely agree with u .. Being a an LG fan myself, i am currently using LG V20 and it is a solid phone. LG makes durable phones and its priced lower than other brands which makes their phones more valuable.
Who else is watching this with the LG G7???
Hoodie Boy me, the only problem i am having is in selfie mode the pic is way too close up 0.0 i was reading about a potential update to bring it "back" I had the v10 and I'm considering getting the v40
Yep 😂🤣
I actually like LG alot but I typically wait for their V series, they're always better for my daily use compared to Samsung
Currently have an LG Stylo 3 Plus. Very happy. This will be my next phone in a couple of months.
Only 6GB of RAM? 6GB is perfect imo
It has 4
I owned the G3, G5 and now the G7 and i think they are good phones, very good features and the manual modes for the camera are amazing.
Yes, lg is the most underrated phone band, they make the most reliable handsets, the specs are decent always
It's a spectacular, underrated, overlooked device. Just got mine yesterday and loving it so far. I got the international plus version
My friend doesn’t have a (used to have a blackberry he got from work but he changed jobs) smartphone, next week is is birthday, so I got him a case,a screen protector, and the LG G7 ThinQ(on sprint, and with everything included in the box)along with having smart launcher pro preloaded on it....I hope he likes it
Love everything about it the camera the 🔋 the colors the loud speaker and much more!!!

Hows snapchat lookin on there??
I haven't replaced my phone because it has never given me problems. I still have my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with 10000 zero lemon battery replacement. I also maxed out my storage with 256 gigs.
I never wanted to dish out $800-$1000 for a new one. This phone is half that price $399 and it's performance is better than what I have now. I don't play very many games on my phone anynore, so I will get the zero lemon for this from Asia, max out the storage again and I think I'll be good for another 3 to 4 years.
What's the support like on these phones like software updates etc?
Not a huge fan of the new LG V40 coming out. What do people think comparing the new Pixel 3 to the G7?
The fact that this has bts case theme is omfg army would buy it just 4 that
marti nebiu i know, they are the reason I stuck with LG despite my plans to switch.
Is that battery really excellent as you say, and wouldn't it be critically better in flagship phone to have stereo speakers?
Ive had my G7 since release and its Absoulty amazing. Ive never had any issues with it what so ever in almost the year i have had it. ( except I dropped it with the case on it. But it landed on a rock on the finger print scanner and it destroyed the back glass. But no biggie doesnt effect the phone
In most countries only the 4gb ram version is available for some reason...
Waiting to see how the V40 is to make a decision between it and this
And what about the G6 in 2018? Should I buy it, or maybe wait for G7 one ? G6 is soooo cheap right now!!
It's a great phone that reminds me of another great flag ship phone in its heyday: HTC M8.
thinking about getting this phone as an upgrade to my LG x power... but the complaints about battery life are what's keeping me from doing it.
Are you satisfied with the cameras?

Buy both s9 and g7 bro if possible
It's not better then Huawei P20 pro but it's definitely better then Samsung s9+ and that's just my personal experience .

I was forced to get a v35 as i go thru att. Was wondering what your thoughts on that phone are.
Actually have a full comparison of that phone vs the G7 coming tomorrow! 👍🏻
I had this problem too cuz I have AT&T. I went and bought an unlocked G7 cuz I really wanted one instead of the V35.
i am pretty happy with the v35 so far. I also like not having the extra dedicated side buttons.
How's it??
How long does the battery last ?
Does it support fast charging?
Just went from a V10 to G7. Big LG fan , and my V10 still works flawlessly
Nice video.

I really want to switch from my iPhone to this one. My friend has one and it’s absolutely amazing plus I’m a BTS fan lol
what is the max capacity for microsd card can I use for this phone? What would you recommend and why? thanks in advance for your help.
Chris Pollard I think it’s the G7 ThinQ+
Apparently North America is only getting the 4GB variant - the international one has 6GB/128GB storage AND dual sim! Too bad I couldn't get that one. I love dual sim phones.
I got it since release, mostly because it was so similar to my old Galaxy S7. I always loved the glass back (the design on the heels was very similar too) and felt premium to hold. But yes they need to release next to a flagship at a very competitive price (they always have the 2 for 1, might as well half the price).
My first smartphone was the LG G4, and I had no complains. I actually loved the camera quality.
Actually just picked one of these up over any of the current flagships and its my favorite phone ive ever used.
I totally agree with you........all the good work of LG gets unnoticed and it is very sad that something which is really very good does not get attention and things like samsung and iphones are boomed
LG has to seriously focus on their marketing startegy
Excellent battery life?
