HK G-15 Prop Failure Test : Candela RC Engine Test Stand :Testing

Testing Candela's test stand with a prop failure.
The detachment failure was caused by a plastic Horizon Hobby engine mount.(Usually not in the system) We will do other test without this part in the system.
This stand allows for a scale to placed at the front foot for measuring thrust. We use a spectrum reciever and an amp draw meter. Firewall is removable with 4 pins.
Sorry about only one camera angle. Office would not let us do this test inside ....lol

Also if you notice the danger Zones are at the sides(prop fragments) and the front(motor broke plastic mount and flew forward)the safe zone is behind the stand

yea the first time was a little scary but i stilll laugh when i see the shaky stick come into view

We had to do it a few times because we were laughing so hard behind the shield. It was a lot of, " no, you do it, No You Do It.... flipped a coin,, I lost "
