I rectly started watching Mr scrappity. Wish he showed his scrap drop-off with his totals like you but I really enjoy his videos, he's not scrap and pallet man but he's good! I've been going after work about 4 days a week. Loving it!
Mr Scrappity is a hidden gem. A lot of people don't like the rough edges, but he is a diamond in the rough.

Loved the video. 2 cups of coffee when I get up my cat wants breakfast at 6:00 am. I'm no spring chicken I will be 68 next week. Very thankful to be here.
Been so busy I use recycles to make fairy houses I'm making my first medieval castle. It keeps me busy and those who I make them for love them. I use scrap wood what ever I get hands on.

Hi Paul, l have been trying to get a word in to you for awhile. First l am sorry l did not get to " thank you for your service" with the USCG on Memorial Day. And we took our second Honor Flight the week before. 79 outstanding men and women , the oldest was 94, five women officers and a Brig. General. I was very honored to get to have a wonderful pre-flight conversation with. He was Air Force and kept volunteering to fly the plane. 😊 It was another great day with outstanding people 🇺🇸

Just amazing what people will throw away, I've gotten tons of stuff over the years, I loved working the county routes, so many cool and useful items, I hit one house twice in two weeks, first week was 1970's rock albums, the second week was a complete stereo with turn table and speakers, nothing wrong with any of it, I've gotten old Tonka toys, microwave ovens, tools, lawn mowers, weed whackers, a couple of chainsaws, ,, I absolutely loved the county convenience sites, lumber, shingles, scrap metal, electronics, etc I'd volunteer to work one of the convenience sites the day after Thanksgiving when I'd have the week off , the guys that worked the sites always got good stuff

I collect turntables, old stereos, old electronics, ect. Just about anything old and electronic.
I pay well too, 5 to 25 times the scrap price.

@@drrick8839 something you may want to consider is, check with some people who go to auctions and storage auctions, there is usually some kind of electronics, TV's, stereo's, computers, stuff like that

I didn't start drinking coffee until I was 40. The whole time I was in the military I couldn't stand coffee. I couldn't stomach and the smell of it and never drank a drop.

Wednesday night we were given a big SUV. The owner hit a big🦌.
We stuffed what scrap metal that we had in it, and our trailer was squatting.
We got all the way over to the scrap yard, and there sat a state police!
With his disco lights a flashing, we thought we were gunna get weighed.
There was one truck and trailer pulled over, but there was no scales out. It was lunch time. They were already gone.
We were over 2ton.
Oops!!!
We spoke to the guy that was pulled over, inside the yard.
His tags was expired on his truck and his trailer.
He was not haviNG a good day!!

That red truck door...somewhere some dude is screaming "I need that!" because he's restoring a GMC truck. Don't be afraid to dig with people around Paul; if it's nothing you can use call 'em over to grab the free kid toys. I'm a sale/coupon shopper whenever possible. Full price on food is impossible these days. That's one more reason dumpster divers go in where compacting dumpsters don't make it insanely dangerous. Olivia of course says "I don't care where it comes from. FEED ME."
My husband hauled a load of scrap yesterday. He went several miles away as we don't have a scrap yard in our small town. This scrap came from our acreage, collected both intentionally and inadvertently over many years. He was hoping for a great deal more money than he actually received thou I warned him that it was unlikely to bring his hoped for amount. (I watch you faithfully). By the time he paid for fuel and paid his helper he came out with with about 1/3 of the money. He did get the satisfaction of getting some clean up done. I hope that was worth it for him, because he has a long way to go.

I am proud that you all did real recycling and got paid. I cleaned up acreage to boot :-)

Hmmmm. A friend of mine made an electric can compressor. All the cans that he would collect were crushed like a pancake. 3 or 4 times a year he would have around 1000 pounds of aluminum.
