Make a gingerbread house with Grandmas Follies. Join our family as we have quality time during the Christmas. My mom created Grandmas Follies in 2014 to help children locate lost stuffed animals, but after a few years of reevaluating and listening to her community, she decided the most important thing to do was to make people smile and laugh daily. My mother‘s goal for Grandmas Follies was to make people smile and find the good things in life…. Hugs and Giggles to be exact.
My mother knew that life constantly had ups and downs, but despite the challenges of life, she always found a way to create fun things for us to do it didn’t matter if I was five years old or if I was 50, we genuinely enjoyed each other‘s company! This video is a clear indication of how close our family is and how much fun we have doing simple things.

Gingerbread House Kit: The kit came from a local bakery, and they provided basic decorations, icing, and all of the sides of the home that are made out of gingerbread. It is a edible kit. But my mom, of course, went above and beyond to get all the extra fixings to make the project even more fun. Dollar Tree is perfect for this type of project.
