The difference between RADAR and SONAR is not the medium in which it is used but radio or acoustic waves. And no, logic gates are not software, they can be, but logic gates in computing are hardware. And the pun of this joke was exactly that - you can't look at the circuit from afar and tell what is it, this is why he asked how familiar Sheldon was with these. ;)
I love engineers, without engineers I wouldn't have a job. I spend 95% of the time fixing things engineers thought would work in real life applications. Sadly most of the times they don't even work on paper. 🤣

The cleaning room was a little funny section for the epesode. But the beeatles song i did not know and is actually incredible. Doctor who did a plack identitying the human race for a probe for mars. Theres songs, wheat, water, maps and A positive blood. An alien race actually came across it headihg to us already. They wanted to conquer the earth, and it was david tenents first christmas special. It was amazing. I still think you should look at certain doctor who epesodes that have certain technology.

You could still look into them but in the science only fields for technology these are good ones. If you need anything else let me know.
