Nice! That lotion seems to be key... I just used something else that was too thick and hard to manage. Seems we need a more liquid lotion that will lie flat pretty much straight out of the bottle.
I should’ve done more research. I put my I Dye poly brand packets in squeeze bottles, with water. And, I dumped the whole packet in the bottle. That lotion blend comes out a lot easier, and more controllable.
at 10:50 you say that the dye bottles have a mixture of Pro Chemical Dyes and Worm Dip with Lotion. Does that mean that you mix the pro chemical dye, worm dip and lotion in one bottle?
I don't use lotion often, but I always over saturate it with dye. I'll also add in some purples and blues, since black is really just a mixture of all colors. I'm always happy to answer questions over on my IG (Spike Hyzer Dyes)
Really left me hanging by not showing me his reveal too😂
I would love some more details on what kind of lotion and what kind of dye is used.
The finished disc at the end of the video looks so dope!
Got my first ace a few months later with it too!
Hey....I'm digging the name of the Dye Company!!! Great content as well!!
Awesome! Thank you!
What are the dyes mixed with? Looks thick. Great video
I can't believe you only have 1.19K subscribers at the moment. (see how well this comment ages) You guys have excellent content!
Trying to get out there. Glad you like it sir!

That is sick. I am now looking to create my own.
I'm gonna be trying more for sure.
I really enjoyed this
What kind of dye is that? Those came out so sweet.
what color didnt take for all that white to still be there.
I'm really interested in what your dye mixture is! I can't seem to get this right and I'm hoping it's not sacred knowledge

Did he add worm dip in the mixture
@@myrastanley1538 Worm dip is normally used for the brighter colours, like yellow.
Pro chem for the darker colours like red and blue.
What’s the dye lotion ratio on the mix
I want to know!
THE Jeff Ash is the man
Only waiting an hour? I'm so confused I thought it was like 24-48 hours
I just did this with only waiting an hour. Nothing stuck to it. Gonna leave my other disc in for 24hrs atleast and see how that turns out.
@@zacksfl530 They used heating pads, which cuts down the curing time considerably
How did your lotion not turn to liquid in the sun, mine literally went terrible trying to follow this...
What temperature does the over bake at for 45 minutes?
Is the worm dip necessary? I have pro-chem powders.
I don’t understand why people are saying it needs to sit for 24 hours
Does it have to be coco butter lotion? And is it body lotion
Any idea where I can get bottles like his?
What kind of dye are you using?
How thin should the dye mix be
How much dye to lotion for the bottles?
That's what I was wondering too
I'm the student in the video so don't have an answer for you. I know he said it has been a lot of trial and error for him.
@@SkyoteFPV does he have a channel or Instagram?

What is the dye mixture? Best place to get pro-chem?

I believe so
I think the worm dip is usually its own separate color and is mixed with lotion without the prochem
Do you have a link to those exact squeeze bottles?
Not the same but great: prochemicalanddye.net/tapered-gold-tip-bottle.html
Common to any arts and crafts store. Hobby lobby, micheals etc.
Edit. Shows another reply in count but I'm guessing youtube made it invisible.
I wanted to see his
The colors he said are not the primary colors lol
When I mix the black with lotion, I can’t get it to be black. Just dark brwon no matter how much dye I add. Can anyone help?
Check out the disc dyeing group on Facebook. I'm the student in the video and unfortunately don't have an answer for you.
