Wow, can't believe how well this turned out!! The running shot, back mount and regular POV all look amazing. Still stoked we cleaned that on our first try.
@@DaleStone I second that, we are always eager to watch your vids, it's a real pleasure. We even have DS-inspired bells on our bikes as a homage. Well, that, and for bears. :) I think we are from the same hood(-ish) back East...
@@BermUnit that's awesome! Love the bells on your channel. And shoutouts to all of the good riding back in Ontario, there is so much fun variety out there.
@@BermUnit maybe not directly in Acton haha, but there are so many systems just a short drive away. Coming from a fellow Guelphite it's World class XC territory yo! :)
That was some super impressive riding on both yours and "skinny" Dave's behalf. I've been going back and forth on weather to ride today (hungover and its 90 degrees out) but after this one my stroke meter is on high and I'm gathering up my gear! Keep em coming Dale.
Awesome job man! I broke my leg riding 4 weeks ago and have spent a lot of that time watching your videos. Love the positivity and insane skill level, can't wait to get back out there.
Didn’t check before I started watching but I knew exactly who was filming when I saw the bell around 00:50 😂 Looks crazy how you have to ride around the trees jutting up against the skinnies!
Inspired! I'm just getting back into riding at almost 49...10 years ago I could ride this, I hope it's possible for me again. Keep up the great vids man!
@@clydesdalemountainbiking7393 We actually surprised ourselves by riding that skinny section 6-7 times and cleaning it every single time that day. Didn't make any sense as I've definitely dabbed/jumped off many times in the past haha. Stoked!
You guys cleaned it all - some pretty sketchy and nasty sections. More of those technical vids please 🤩 Or fiver race - or whatever ☺️ Still amazed how your Norco Range holds up against all that rough stough you through on it. Can‘t wait for my trip to the Northshore. Yet, oilcan will be a big challenge 🤔 Keep up that great work pal - and btw, resolution on non-mobile devices is definitely above 1080p 😉 dingle dingle dingle
I love these technical trails, so there will hopefully be a lot more stuff like this! And yeah the range is a fantastic bike for these parts. So good in fact that I just built another today haha. And thanks for confirming the quality is there on mobile devices. I figured but it's nice to know.
There's a bit of a difference between wheel sizes as far as intended use goes right now, but you won't be disappointed! Obviously hit me up if you have any questions.
@@DaleStone yeah it does. It looks great. I have used my phone for 3rd party shots in my videos. But I have found it makes everything look half the size!! I will have to try this out!!
Interesting that you're saying this as I've had zero issues with this one. Are you trying to watch in 4k60? Because it's not actually 4k, it's boosted to that in post to get 2.7k60 (native) to process a lot better.
@@maxhammerum7705 Appreciate the response here. I've checked on a few of my devices and they all say 4k60, not seeing the compression artifacts in this one (that I have seen before). Will do some digging!

Clearly we must film more jank. Imonator train? 🤔
The way you guys pivot the rear of your bikes like that effortlessly is a thing of beauty.
Outstanding as usual Dale. You are a PRO at capturing the Shore. My 15 year tells me your one of his 'all time inspirational riders and You Tubers"
Wow, thanks a ton Scott and Scott junior! Hearing things like this make this hobby worthwhile. Definitely call me out if you see me on the trails!

haha, gave me a big smile reading that, you damn well better get outside if it's sunny! Also Dave is a wizard at this stuff.

Ouch! Hope the recovery time isn't too lengthy. If there's anything you like to see then I'll see if I can keep you entertained!

I loved all of the camera angles.

Thanks Bushman. This trail must have been quite a different beast a decade ago, when it was the "easy" option instead of circus... jealous!
You love to ride and it shows. Great videos
Thanks Dave! Bikes are quite literally my life, so I'd better keep enjoying it haha.
I need to get back there and ride, I didn’t realize how good I had it.
Good filming, whoever your runner was in the initial cut did well. As always great riding. :)
Thanks Clydesdale! Funny enough the opening shot was done first try haha.
@@DaleStone wow that's impressive. At first I thought it was a cable and then whoever it was ducked under obstacle. Very well done. :)
Btw. Riding is always awesome to watch. :) Skills I dream to have someday haha

Was that dangerous dave in the beginning on the woodwork?
The one and only!
that was awesome dude
Cheers Rick!
What did u shoot the third party shots with?
Exact same setup as the POV stuff, Hero 6 Black on a Karma grip for stabilization. Works pretty well eh?
@@DaleStone yeah it does. It looks great. I have used my phone for 3rd party shots in my videos. But I have found it makes everything look half the size!! I will have to try this out!!
what do you call this style of riding?
Mountain biking is pretty safe, but trail or enduro could work.
@@DaleStone I have been trying to find a bike for this style of riding and I have to say that it gets confusing really fast
I have no idea what to buy
Go to your local bike shop! 🙂
@@DaleStone I did that :) I was close to buying one. Where I live they only sell Gient bikes though
Nice job, when does the ewok council mail you the merit badge? :)
🤔 Once I have graduated from the school of jank. This is just the beginning!
@@DaleStone I wouldn't count on the school of jank dispensing any diplomas as they are inherently anarchistic and quite disorganized. :p
Less Skinnies more Enduro!
Boooo! #skinny4lyfe

You need to figure out how to fix the compression on these my dude. It’s really bad and ruins the quality
