I really enjoyed this! This one is definitely going on my rewatch list and I would totally recommend it! I’m usually annoyed with redemption dramas, since the dude usually shows a pathetic amount of remorse, the chick forgives him too quickly and/or easily, or all of the above. I tend to hope the FL moves on and never looks back, but I felt that wasn’t the case here and it was actually well done! Part of that was because of the ML and his character growth. Because this show also had a rebirth plot and resets 3 months, we need to keep in mind that the ML wasn’t the same person that betrayed the FL so badly previously. Don’t get me wrong, he did a lot of mean things to her during their marriage in the three years prior, but he wasn’t the person he became under the SFL’s manipulation. With that said, his character growth was pretty understandable and believable. He started suspicious of her motives, then her character change caused him to actually SEE her. That led to understanding and appreciation, which started the regret of loss of the relationship, and this is where I usually think it’s too little too late. But here’s the kicker, he dreams about the final betrayal from before and he’s horrified. Seriously. It absolutely shook him. He’s not that person and he doesn’t understand how he could be such a monster. This is where the true remorse comes in and he begins to actively try and win her back. Because those 3 months didn’t happen this time he didn’t have as much to atone for, but he still had a ways to go. I thought it was sweet when he cried and clung to her, and then later when he just begged to be allowed to remain near her, without any other expectations, I thought that he might be redeemable. He became a nice combination of sweet and funny, that was a good juxtaposition to the cold and cruel way he was before. That leads me to the FL (who was played by an amazing actress who tends to bring a genuine-ness to her roles, that I find very entertaining to watch!), and I also really liked how she was portrayed here. After the reset she was smart and strong, and didn’t buckle at the first sign of kindness from the ML. In fact, I thought for their situation, she showed the perfect amount of reluctance for his pretty much appropriate amount of groveling, which led to a satisfying and enjoyable conclusion! Overall, well acted, plotted and nice production values. As always, the subs could have been better, but I’m grateful for what was there so that I could enjoy the show!
Really? Li Jingye, the ML indeed rarely does real kissing scene with the FL. So far I just watch he does it with her and another FL in another story about Ruan Kuang and Mu Jingchen
I like male actors who play assistant roles in almost every Chinese drama because they act well and go well with the leading man in any drama. I like the way male actors dress, always cool. Even when sleeping, he doesn't take off his night suit. What is too over the top?😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 this leading lady is God smacking beautiful. Great talent and amazing facial expressions.. You can tell from her face all her emotions and her eyes also tell us her emotions when the camera pans over to her.. The whole cast went into ultra character building .. We all seen the same story from multiple houses .. But this one never broke character or creation of the storyline with quirky none whimsical jokes..
… SFL voice is similar to hearing nails on a chalkboard, she came into scenes about 30-45 minutes in and by the end my head was already pounding. If that is what they were going for she definitely nailed the role. Kudos to the rest of the team and actors, did good!
If I hadn't watched several versions of this story, the subbing would have me utterly confused. They are close to utter nonsense. It really is a pity. Character wise I really like 2ML, playful and supportive. And I like the cast as a whole. Good actors and real kisses. FLs choice in the end might not be for everybody. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL originally married a CEO (ML) because ML’s grandfather wanted her to and knew that she was in love with ML. However, since ML never wanted the forced marriage, FL wasn’t able to warm his heart. Instead ML has a White Moonlight (2FL) whispering in his ears, so when FL is fatally injured in a car accident involving both women, 2FL manages to convince him that it was FL who hit her on purpose, which causes him to refuse seeing FL before she dies on the way to the operating table. FL is then somehow reborn at a time 3 months earlier. She decides to change her fate by first of all signing the divorce papers she originally refused to sign and then transfer the shares of ML’s company, that his grandfather gave her when they married, to him - in order to sever their ties completely. But, instead of appreciating FL agreeing to divorce and the transfer of shares, ML gets suspicious as to why she would do that and what she expects to gain from doing so. Next she turns her attention towards the family, wanting to take back what is hers. But, divorcing ML proves more difficult than she expected since ML seems to deliberately delay the process, having regretted his wish to divorce. Soon the two of them are in a tug of war, having their original divorce discussion reversed. Well, not spoiling too much, this has a so-called happy ending.
Entertaining, funny & hilarious 💯💯💯💕💕💕😍😍😍👍👍👍. Both the ML's assistant & FL's friend were funny. They add up the performance of ML & FL. Oh! Forgot about ML's sister. She, too contributed to both the protagonist's performance 😍😘. Congratulations to the whole production team for an entertaining drama 👏👏👏👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🌹💐💕
Good thing I read the comments first. I actually opened the drama because of the BEAUTIFUL FL. But if you say she forgave the INSUFFERABLE ML in the end, then, I AM NOT WATCHING THIS!!!
I don't usually like the "i dont want it till its gone" story but I like both the leads from other dramas and the comments made me curious. Honestly i didnt really like it until it was at least half over because ML is such a scumbag for the first part. I was laughing by the end because he took the "be shameless" advice to heart for real!
