After a week at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome show 2020 at the NEC Birmingham we have managed to get some footage of the NEW Adria Altea Tyne.
The entry level caravan range of the Altea offers some new and exciting changes for 2020, and the model that has been bought over to the UK to show us is this prototype of the Tyne. This was displayed at the show and will be readily available soon at the dealerships for purchase.

Hi Karina and Jules sorry I missed you at the NEC. I looked in this Adria at the show and I can say that I have never liked Adria in the past but I am really warming towards this van they have come a long way since I bought my last caravan and the layout is just what my wife Debbie and I want in are next caravan. We can leave the twin beds made up when using it for the 2 of us or when we take my brother,s 2 girls away they can use the twin beds leaving us to use the front after they have gone to bed.

Thanks both of you, Great review. We just bought one, get it in a few days. Can’t wait. I note the comments about the Blue upholstery but think it matches the worktops. The first job for me will be to cover them anyway to protect from potentially damp or muddy paws. When we first sat in it we thought we were in an 8 foot van, a feeling of spaciousness, maybe the cushions are slightly narrower than our current swift? Hope you are getting on Ok with the Motorhome, did you find a solution to fetching the chips? Still waiting for the review on Fish and Chip shops! Hi Keith, I bet you’re excited about travels in your new caravan. 😊 We have been busy reviewing fish and chip shops, there’s one in tonights vlog in fact 😂 Truma air blown is easy to live with, it heats up much quicker than Alde and is quiet enough. They only thing it doesn’t have is residual heat like Alde. We are enjoying the Motorhome..its great for our life right now. Take care and stay safe, Karina
Fantastic presentation :) That's a lot of van for the money and workable for a wide range of couples/families, I'm not sure about the blue with that "wood" colour but hopefully just my monitor colours making it look murky so hopefully looks much nicer in real life but the curtains look horrendous (though they're easy to swap), not well matched to anything - don't seem to match the modern aesthetic. Front seats though look extremely comfortable. Thanks for taking us all around it - you guys are getting so good at this :)

great review as usual of a well priced caravan, you guys need to invest in a 99p tape measure, the most important thing is the length of those beds though, even though you’ve guessdemated the length of those beds it can be a real deal breaker. Keep up the great work.

As a family of four with children who are getting too big for bunks we like this layout...but...would love it if a manufacturer would bring out a layout like this but where the two single beds make up in the day to a kids seating area. Two dinettes or similar.

Hi don't know if you can offer any advice. I'm looking to buy my 1st caravan and have found an Adria Altea 502 from 2005.
The door is on the wrong side. This is one of my concerns. Do you know if this would cause any issues at any sites? And would it be a problem getting an awning for it? Inside the van looks really nice and I like the layout, perfect for my needs. Hope you can help thanks 😊
The door on the right is the same as many European caravans here in the UK and the only thing you might find is you have to go nose in on sites so your door opens on to the pitch the same as everyone else. Having used a Motorhome with the door on the right we actually quite enjoyed being nose in as it have us privacy. It wouldn’t be an issue for me, some people it might, but it may just mean pitching differently sometimes. As long as the awning channel is open on the door side there will be no issue with an awning. 😊 Karina

It certainly is impressive like the way the beds are at either end of the caravan, interesting you can use the chopping board / sink as a work top, the fridge freezer is large and at eye level, think tvs should be wall mounted probably less likely to get damaged and leaves surfaces free, shame no outside gas point, those panoramic windows must loose a lot of heat though caravans are probably more used in summer.
Thanks Mark...on the next spec up there is a wall mounted bracket for the TV and gas point. I think you could probably have those added to this Tyne model as extra options. We like an external gas point. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍
Loved your show vlog, you work so hard on your videos and as a lady it’s nice to see Karina presenting. I saw an awful video the other day with a girl with her chest out, I switched it straight off. Can you do a live again soon please.

What a fantastic entry value caravan. However I still don't understand why they choose that position to put the plugs in the bedroom. They put them in, but they're not really practical. They need a plug and shelf or pocket so that you can actually use it for charging your devices. But apart from that, looks good.
Thanks Dan, yes a shelf would be a good addition. I wonder if the plug is there so people could use a hair dryer or straighteners and see in to the bathroom mirror 🤔 Thanks for watching 😊👍

I like the graphics and some of the interior designs. But I think also they are little overpriced for the spec.
£20k and no window in the door either.
Blue fabric cheapens it further for me.
When i first set foot in the dart i was like wow.
Then a second viewing I thought.
No electric hot plate, blue fabric was a little naff and lacking some key design features that only uk manufactures give.
I can see why people like the quailty.
I do love the tall fridge freezer though and can't have any other.
