I’d love you to have Mike jr. back on to talk Oline specifically mid-season. Loved his quick Alt breakdown

I can feel the cringe of every Chicagoan as Mays reads the Pizza Hut ad 😂

Man, I miss both the Golics since I stopped listening to the radio. Great to hear ya'll have a podcast now. Subscribed on Spotify now.
And the Lions rebuilt secondary is what I am looking for to seeing the most this season. Final season of rookie deal for Iffy, Kerby after offseason hip surgery, Brian Branch yr 2 and transitioning to safety roles, trade for Carlton Davis, signing Amik Robertson, and drafting of Terrion Arnold and Ennis Rakestraw...how will Aaron Glenn put the puzzle together in what could be a make or break year for him?🤔

The lack of credit for Tua is honestly insane. His O line and WR core was wrecked with injuries and still #1 in passing, #1 against blitz (by PFF), #1 passer rating in AFC over last 2 years. People are in love with the old narrative
The same arguments you use against tua you use as a plus for brock Purdy. Awesome coach, accuracy with quick release, great supporting cast.

The Bengals are going to be fine. They upgraded at Right tackle. They upgraded at TE and they upgraded at safety. At RB we traded Mixon bevause he isn’t explosive anymore. He will be replaced by Zach Moss who is a bruiser between the tackles kind of guy and second year player Chase Brown who is explosive as fuck. Last year Chase Brown on a 52 yard td run was clocked by next gen stats at 22.05 mph which was the 2nd fastest ball carrier of last season. DK Metcalf was the fastest. Brown is EXPLOSIVE. The only position you can really say we downgraded is at nose tackle or Defensive tackle but we didn’t just let DJ Reader walk we replaced him with Sheldon Rankins who is a good run stopper and pass rusher. We also drafted DTs in round 2 and 3. One of the Mckinlly Jackson being a true nose tackle. He is 6’2’’ 331 lbs and we got Kris Jenkins out of Michigan. He is going to be good and have a long career. Jenkins was the best run stopping DT in the country last year not named Devondre Sweat last year at Michigan. He is 6’3’’ 305 so he has size too. And we got BJ Hill still who is solid at 6’3’’ 315. And Dax Hill didn’t have as bad a year as everyone thinks. First of all he is t a safety and last year was the first time he has ever played free safety. He was an elite nickel CB at Michigan. And next year after Mike Hilton is gone Dax will be our starting nickel CB and Von Bell will be gone next year too and Jordan Battle will be the starting SS. Battle is going to be a star. Like big time. He was the 5th highest graddd safety in the NFL last year and was the highest graded rookie safety since Derwin James came out in 2017. The problem last year was youth. We had 2 rookie safety’s a rookie CB and another second year CB. Our linebackers are very good but those units have to work in unison. Cam Taylor Britt is also going to be a star. Mike Hilton is a star but is 30 and on the last year of his deal. Dax Hill is a great nickel CB. At Michigan he was elite. Last year Dax had 110 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 12 pass breakups, 2 interceptions, and 5 tackles for loss. Not a bad stat line huh. Logan Wilson out top MLB got burned I. Coverage some last year but it was primarily because of all the youth around him. When someone else doesn’t do their job it makes it hard to do yours. PFF graded Logan in the low 60’s last year which is far below of where he is capable of playing. I think he knows that that’s why I’m predicting he will make the Pro Bowl this year. Last season he had a career high 135 tackles, 1 sack, 4 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, 9 pass deflections, and 5 tackles for loss. Pretty fam good. And Cam Taylor. Britt is a future star. He was playing at a Pro Bowl level last year when he went down with injury. He is going to be even better this year. And DJ Turner is one of the top 3 fastest people in the whole NFL and was born to play CB. Saw some good stuff from him last year also saw a lot of rookie mistakes. What CB not named Sauce Gardner does not struggle when they are a rookie? They all do exept Sauce. Even Derek Stingley Jr struggled his rookie year. DJ is going to be better this year. Dax Hill will play some too this year. He will back Mike Hilton up and he will back the other CBs up and he can also backup the safety’s. Dax can play anywhere in the secondary but is best at nickel. Jordan Battle will also play a lot this year. They brought Bell back not because Battle was bad. Quite the contrary they brought Bell back because 1)he is a good player 2) because he is a veteran and a leader and he can teach these young guys some things 3)they got him for the veteran minimum because Carolina is paying his salary this year. Carolina should have kept Vonn. They are crazy for letting him walk.
