Exactly why I never bought the ps4 version, and I won't buy the ps5 version. The only thing I want out of it is the cherry blossom case, but I'll just do a shell swap and spend maybe $50 on some extremerate parts

@@ml_serenity Well I mean, there's also the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller which is also great and cheaper than the Dualsense Edge (unless you buy one from Xbox design lab) which is a bit more customizable and has 2 extra back paddles, but at the same time its joysticks aren't changeable and there are complaints that it breaks faster than a regular controller. So that of which controller is better is relative

I’ve spent momey for the $200 “regular” scuf reflex and tbh it should be cheaper but the controller is great if you really want to be more efficient on controller.
The 4 back buttons help so much in competitive fps, but tbh that’s where you’ll benefit the most with it.
If you play different genres, the back buttons could help but they can also throw off your sense of direction and control sometimes, atleast in my experience.
The controllers are not faulty nor cheap material like their predecessors.
Cinch controllers are way better . Plus you can get mouse click buttons added to any input .
Duel sense way better. Only thing that sucks is the battery life . But way better

If you could replace the joystick when they start to get stick drift in a easy way like how the ps5 pro controller did that would be nice and the controller look pretty but I would never buy it too expensive
Got the controller and got stuck drift within a year of having it then they charged me for repairs. Way too expensive for the limited warranty I wouldn’t buy these controllers

Except for 2 extra buttons vs 4. But tbh I personally never seen a reason in 4 remappables. Especially when they are layout like that - makes it very easy for accident presses.
I am fine with stock controller. So what it comes with extra buttons but thats about it. Same i internals, same functions.
Man after Dualsense edge came out oh hell nah this is not worth it at all the Dualsense edge is overall better for value than this since you can fix the stick drift by just replacing the modules and the adaptive triggers ,and the function buttons and you can keep profiles for it in ps5 since it is a literal Sony product i think it’s better worth it

Terrible spring system in the digital tap triggers. Had mine for 7 months and it took a shit.
Don't get it the paddle are to fragile they will come loose and fall of it you have sweaty hands when playing

Hey man i have seen those wood controller stands in your vids and I just cant find them. Anything special i should search for or you made them yourself? :P
They are only 360 with the added specs. Instant triggers are almost obsolete as most games and 3rd party programs allow you to adjust deadzones of triggers, allowing for instant reaction time without a “mouse click” button.
Also the nebula skin addition is 20$ the triggers are 25. Taxes are included in the total price so this controller is actually 300$ without the add ons. It’s really worth it to save you from carpel tunnel if you play claw. If not, have fun with carpel tunnel and never being as good as the dude with one of these controllers. It’s just that simple. 4 paddles or claw is the ONLY way to press all buttons and have FULL control of controller while playing. Even fighting games are significantly easier when u get used to claw or 4 paddle controller. Claw just messes up hands after 2-6+ years of use

I got the new dual sense edge for my PC and I love it!
The interchangeable thumbsticks are a game changer when it comes to stick drift!
Just get the ps5 one for 200$ and it’s the same as the scuff plus you can add a 50$ insurance and switch it out every two years for 50$

@@monkey5818 the build quality feels cheap for the amount of money you spend, their cheapest ps5 controller is $200; The PS Dual Sense Edge is a MUCH better package, and the Scufs don’t last long before needing a repair. That is the common complaint you see online, personally I bought the Reflex Pro in March of 22’ and it was broken by then end of December, just outside of the manufactures warranty. MY L3 was inputting as R3, making me melee while trying to tac sprint. That was on 2-3 hours of gaming M-F.

Is there any PS5 controller with Hall effect joysticks?
Hall effect is mostly a marketing gimmick. I own one and I hardly can tell any difference. Also I've never had any drift issues over 2 decades using controllers on average 4-6 years in a row.
I think there is no hall effect Dualsense now
But we have 2 choices
Expensive way
Buy Dualsense Edge and wait for Gulikit to sell the hall effect joystick modules
Cheaper but high risk way
Buy a hall effect joystick and change it yourself

If you had a drift issues on every controller, probably you need to not hammer your sticks as much.
