I love it. I miss classic jeep builds on leaf springs. This one had NICE upgrades. The axles are awesome as is the spring over and shackle reversal. It's a beauty. The air conditioning looks same as that in my 89 YJ. It was an aftermarket AC that looks just like that in the CJ7
This makes me miss my CJ-7 I had it looked just like this Royal Metallic Blue with the hard top sitting on 42" Super Swampers only mine was the constant 4x4 automatic.
Mines getting there. Currently, AMC 360, Holley fuel system, NP435, D300, stock spring over (will change springs and shocks when I D44 swap it, still on stock axles until I source FSJ axles.
I had an 82 CJ7, air conditioning, automatic trans and 31” tires. If I locked the steering all the way to one side and punch the gas I’d be up on two wheels. They were truly not designed for highway use.
I love these classic builds!! I have a very similar setup on my jeep cj7 using the same suspension components and alot of your products! i set it up 3.5" spring under. Still needs some tweaking on the steering but im determined to get it dialed! Maybe someday you can do a walk around with mine!!
What is the cost and parts list to do the spring over , shackle reversal and TJ springs ? I have a 78 cm that I would love to do that way. Love all for you alls builds
Beautiful! I have a similar setup in my stretched 7. Spring over on RE 1444s and XJ rears, 38 SXs, gm D44 front and D60-2, Genrite tube fenders, Question, what is the part number for the Bilsteins you used F/R and the HD diff covers? Thanks!
I have an axle tech question. Im building a waggy 44 front for my cj. I was given the housing for free so i dont have knuckles or diff cover. Can i run my cj outers on the waggy 44?
the factory never sold the cj-7 with a "roll bar" it is called a "sports bar" as it is NOT rated as a roll bar and will not provide any safety factor in a roll over.
That’s what I want! ... and a CJ5, and a scrambler, and a flat fender. Nice job!
I've got an 85 Cj7, a 70 Kaiser Cj5 Renegade, and a 44 Ford GPW...bought 2 myself, just inherited the Cj5...🤘🏻🇺🇸
Good to know I'm not the only one that rolls around with the top off and the AC blowing.

The blue one definitely got my attention
Sweet! My 54 CJ3B needs that build 👍🏻

Awesome build, again!!! Very clean and neat jeep!! Looks like it would climb a tree, as we say around here. Thanks!!
Absolutely epic Jeep! Well done! Love the old iron! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great work. Wish I had the coins so I could let you guy's get a hold of my 1978 CJ5. Be Safe!
That’s my finish goal. I’ve got a 81 similar paint and cage, love the room from the A pillar mounts simple and clean.
Nice looking rig.
Such a neat job, and clean beauty!! 😍

Clean and classic.

Absolute perfection
Perfect jeep!
Yep!!!!! Told You...😎💯✌💯✌
I'm with John I think the CJ flares look much better than square

How does she ride on that suspension?
@@xmo552 it rides unbelievably smooth and stable! And to be 100% honest imo the fox jl take off shocks im running make all the difference!
@@ericmuhlbeier8023
Just to clarify... Is that on CJ lift springs or adapted YJ springs ? Thanks for replying.
@@xmo552 the wfo shackle reversal hanger uses yj width springs, I used rear springs in all 4 corners
I want to add on to factory roll bar w front cage as you did, what do you sell and what do I need? Love it!

Is it better to go leaf springs for a rock crawler? And if so why?
FINALLY !! something not with 17" wheels... 15" as they should be...
Love it
Man I would like to have something like this done to my CJ. How much does it cost?
How much does this suspension spring over cost?
Great build...curious about the rear tire carrier. What brand did you use?
Out of the cj era the 7 is long enough to ride decent
How is the fishing!!!!!

Is the body still metal or fiber glass?
Factory steel body.
🇺🇲😎✌ HA HA HA HA HA, take notes people ✌😎🇺🇲
I broke T-5 transmissions then switched to a T-18.
Nice, I want it? $$$
So ccol
💯👍
YJ springs
Does it ride like a brick?
No not at all
Is that what all JK owners think? My CJ7 rides better off road than my JKU.

Real Jeeps have two doors.
