To further add to the cleverness, Dio actually has a glass ball in the earlier parts of part 3. So even the other lyrics make sense.

I've always sort of loved that the only reason Dio lost was because he was so overdramatic and curious. He could've just stopped time at the beginning of the fight and like slit Jotaro's throat or something. But he wanted to know why Jotaro could move in stopped time and he did the field of knives to see how his power worked when compared to his own. He also probably could've won when he was stopping time and zipping around Jotaro to mess with him after he killed the jewelry store worker, but he wanted to be dramatic. It's sort of funny but also really frustrating to watch, not even because I wanted Dio to win, but because of how easy he could've won.
Yeah very true. Dio really could’ve ended the joestar bloodline entirely but instead he was all dramatic. It really is kind of funny. If I were dio though I would’ve definitely won.

But that is Dio's personality, in Phantom blood he had so many chances to kill Jonathan but instead he plays around with his blood vessel and goes on monologuing. Dio likes to plan everything out and measure his power level with his opponents, when he knows that they aren't a equal like Jonathan, he likes to be over dramatic and play around. This is why Jotaro, is a equal to Dio because he adapts on the fly and he puts his all, Dio lost when he developed a god complex

“Stargazer” is really good for Jotaro vs. Dio. Literally has a part mentioning “top of the world” with “time stands still”. As well as allusions to the desert sands, and “where’s your star”.
Dio had many chances to end jotaro but dio wanted to test his limits..

after dio killed the jeweler lady he had NO chance at that point considering that he didn’t know how long jotaro could’ve stopped time for, so getting too close might’ve been fatal

Ocean Man vs Holy Diver
Let’s be honest, if stardust crusaders stands had music reference names, the world would 100% be Holy Diver.
And Star Platinum would be named Ocean Man, just imagine Jotaro screaming at the top of his lungs "Ocean Man: Holy Diver"
Technically Star Platinum might be a reference to Mike Oldfield's Platinum, and North Star/Platinum Finale.
Hermit Purple would be Deep Purple and Hierophant Green would be Lonely Heart
Nah stargazer instead. Play it while dio kills kakyoin in the anime and it syncs perfectly. Like even better than some of these leitmotifs. Time dio yelling the world with dio yelling the world

The slaves working through harsh conditions are the Crusaders battling Stand users to get to DIO, and then it ends with the wizard's pride being his comeuppance, as DIO tries to kill Jotaro, but doesn't because he wants to know how Jotaro can move while time is halted, and then Jotaro eventually gets the upper hand.
1:59 was such a good detail! When he says 'ZA WARUDO!' during the 'jump' part, that was weirdly smooth
Thanks, I was really trying to use the "jump" part in a satisfying way because so many people always comment about how it matched Jotaro and Dio lifting into the air in one of the Manga leitmotifs.
This was by far the coolest fucking amv I've ever seen, everything just went together so perfectly and I love how you got some of the audio to mix well with the music. Good job

I'm glad you like them. It was a bit of an experiment. I used 100% saturation in Vegas Pro. It works well in some scenes and its a bit to much in others. However, I think The World looks great oversaturated.
