I have been involved in aviation manufacturing for over fourty years so have a little knowledge of flight systems etc, so its such a pleasure to see the mechanical artistry of the fourties displayed in such a clear and concise way. Thank you again for your wonderful videos.

I was a motor mechanic for many years but I'm in awe of the designers and engineers who made these work. Thank you for posting.

My brain hurts. Last five years in the Army (Australian Regular Army) was at an Aviation workshop where I ordered consumerables for Kiowas, Blackhawks, Iroquois and Nomads, before the Army retired the Nomads. Leaving the Army I worked for an aviation defence contractor in the spares and consumerable substores (CSTs-nuts, bolts, screws, orings etc) for the maintenance of Kiowas and Blackhawks for 13 years. My admiration goes to the designers who came up with and put all that stuff together and made it work, both then and now, and, the girls and boys who were trained to maintain it so that it worked as advertised. My standard answer to what I did was 'I order spares and consumerables for the maintenance of helicopters, but I have no idea about how it goes together or what makes it work. I think fuel and electricity are involved somehow.' Thankyou for making this vid about the controls and linkage and putting it all together.
