@@shaniareason85 In John 1:1, the literal Greek reads "In beginning was the Word" (the King James Bible says "In [the] beginning was the Word") when the definitely article "the" is absent in the Greek, it is not referring to a definite time like the creation of our world but rather the most remote eternity that the human mind cannot conceive; before all creation, the Word or Jesus before he became man existed. The same verse continues to say, "and the Word was with God," showing that in the most remote eternity, there was never a time that the Word or Jesus was not with the Father/God. Then the verse ends by saying, "Indeed, the Word or Jesus was God," showing that Jesus, before he became a man, shared the divine nature or Godhead with the Father. In verse 14 of John 1, it says the Word or Jesus "was made flesh and dwelt among us." When this occurred, Jesus became the Son of God (as foretold by the angel in Matthew 1:35, ...that holy thing which shall be born of thee "shall be called the Son of God"), and in his capacity as a man, he indeed prayed to God, his Father. 2corinthians 3:6-8 calls it the ministration of death engraved in stones scriptures go on to call the old covenant the ministry of condemnation now this cannot be about love at all.
Acts 15:5-10 when Jewish converts insisted that Gentiles be circumcised and keep the law of Moses the apostles response was amazing they said "Why put a yoke which we and our forefathers could not bear on the shoulders of the Gentiles"
Again even the Jews were struggling with keeping the law yet you guys are still clinging to the law.
Jesus said "come unto me all ye who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you REST" who was heavy laden? The Jews. He went on to say"Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly at heart and your souls will find rest" the old covenant which included the ten commandments was a burden a yoke to them.
Hebrews say this about the old covenant
Hebrews 8:7 For if the first covenant was faultless a need for a new covenant would not have been sought" .

i think a simple google search of major cults immediately brings up SDA. And there are major doctrinal issues with your beliefs - annihilations, investigative judgement, mark of the beast, Ellen G. White, …the list is too long. Granted that guy may not have gone deep to doctrinal issues but that doesn't mean he was wrong about the movement. Honestly you were arguing semantics on being called a cult. Also my understanding of the canonicity of scripture is that new testament in particular was written by eye witnesses of Christ in the life of other eye witnesses. To elevated Ellen G. Whites writing to standard of scripture is nothing but cultish. and to call Christ the Archangel Michael is to blaspheme, to say that hell is not eternal is to call Christ a liar - He is the one who teaches about hell more than anything, if souls sleep - why is Lazarus alive in the parable while the rich man's brothers are still alive in the earth. Kicking scripture out of context at its best.

As a Christian, I consider myself of no denomination! None as there is one body and one Lord. I heard you read Jude 1:9 and it says ”But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”“

When you read that it said Christ! Are we reading the same verse? I went to a SDA church because I was invited and it was good I was clapping and singing along until they started to sing a song and the lyrics went along the lines of “Oh Sabbath Day” I was like wait a minute…I worship the Lord God and him only yes the day is blessed but we know from scripture that the rest Hebrew speaks of is Christ himself. This is why Christ rebuked them when he healed the man’s hand on a sabbath day. Two commands I leave you Love God, Love people. I love all of you not here to argue I am a just pointing out my experience it’s not above truth though God sent his son to die to for the world and whoever should receive him will be saved.

Great podcast, I hope and pray it is being watched and hearts changed by those going against our faith.
I believe person should check history and bible prophecy before labeling SDA as cult.
SDAs are not the remnant. There are so many people of God who are sealed with the Holy Spirit that are not SDA. Will they be left behind simply because they aren't a part of the "true" demonation? SDA is simply a denomination. *By the way, I was raised SDA, went to Andrews.* The SDA mindset, that we have the truth and we are the remnant, is so exclusive, and it's wrong. The people of God, the remnant, are those who have accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts, are filled with the Holy Spirit, and bearing the fruit.
Reading the Bible set me free from this mindset. The 28 Laws (or however many) is nothing when you can get the truth straight from the Word.
Today is my first time catching your TH-cam and I like it. I had to determine if it was going to be anti-SDA before listening; I saw the 3 angels in your logo and that was good enough for me. One note: I wish the one gentleman would stop saying ‘irregardless’ because it isn’t a word. It’s just regardless. Not trying to grammar shame, just trying to help elevate your conversation.

I was raised in the 7th day adventist church as a teen i strayed from God and while i was away in to the word i met a non sda boyfriend then i got married and i decided to cnfess and go back to the God of the 10 commandments that means thesda church because tbat is the only church who keep the commandments of God and reveltion 12:17says the dragon was enraged with the woman and went to make war against the rest of her offsspring those who obey Gods commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus l could only b an xample to my husband i raised my children also in the sda church i pryed for my husband it took him quite a few years 4 years ago he surrendured his life to christ and became a 7th day adventist and his a deacon in our church we are now spreading the same gospel to the world im not doing it alone my husband is by my side PRAISE GOD

There are several divides on major doctrines in the SDA church. Which SDA church do we call people out of Babylon into? The general conference? The Trinitarians or the non-trinitarians? The country living SDAs? The flat earth SDA? Which SDA church is the true church?

I wish the Trinity was also mentioned when Pastor Henriques was listing out the false doctrines of Orthodox Christianity. That one is a MAJOR one because it strikes at the very foundation of our faith. I want to believe it was the Trinity Andrew was referring to when he mentioned the 1950s? Was it? If it was, he should have mentioned it. The Trinity Question is one of the issues causing a shaking in the SDA Church today. It is a matter that is worthy of clarification. A person recently in the comment section charged Henriques with believing in the Trinity. Is it true? Your not mentioning the Trinity makes that charge appear plausible. Please clarify. Pastor I agree with you that true S D A should not want to be part of orthodox Christian community but Gunnoon Diop and Ted Wilson would not agree with us for Mr Diop told us that the world council of churches have a list of cults and his job is to keep the S D A off that list hence his involvement in ecumenism we need to get rid of apostates like Diop

I don't disagree. However one doesn't have to be an SDA to maintain the Sabbath.
First thing someone asked Me when I told them I was an SDA is to give them the name of our prophet. I quickly understood the angle of the question and let them know we accept the writing as an added clarification on the word of God . And insisted the Bible is Supreme.
Moral lesson: people condemn what they do not want to accept to make them feel better.

Love this video, so glad someone responded to that foolishness The Perry's posted!! I will say the Apocrypha definitely has some precepts aligning with the 66. After all, the Apocrypha is part of the 1611 KJV Bible. The book of Enoch is not in the Apocrypha, that's a separate text all together. Precept example: Hebrews 12:5-7 and II Maccabees 6:12-13. So I think it's an interesting read, but do I think it has any authority or validity OVER the 66 books, NO. I just think many Christians have never explored anything outside of what they've been told or taught since a child, but as you gentlemen pointed out with I Corinthians 2:13 compare spiritual things with spiritual. So I enjoy reading, studying, and comparing for myself, as we all should, it's very easy to just go along with what everyone else says and does.

Just a quick correction on 1 Corinthians 14:32, which says, "And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets." This verse does not refer to prophets agreeing with each other on doctrinal issues; rather, it speaks to the prophets controlling themselves under inspiration. Apparently there were those who claimed that they could not remain silent when under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. This contention Paul flatly denies. True prophets had control over their own minds and could speak or remain silent at will. Inspiration does not take away individuality and free choice. The human agent expresses in his own style and thought the truths that have been revealed to him. Keep up the good work my brothers... God bless!!!

Don't you all know that God knows where we are in our understanding and where people's true heart and intent is the understand His Word. Yet we all say since you don't believe like me you are not saved.

Referring to the mark of the beast when you say that those who worship on Sunday don't have the mark as yet only when it is made a law.There is a point of reasoning in saying so but I would say is not about having the mark is about receiving it .Receiving is when you believe with all your heart although you heard the truth about the subject the truth doesn't matter I will obey what I believe to be true even though so many text in the Bible to point you to the truth you still hold on to the false system of worship. It's all about worship and will always about even one of Gods commandment that the powers that be will pass law for people to adhear to or else the death sentence .Remember Daniel and the three Hebrew boys it was because they refuse to violate Gods law why they were in the fire and Daniel in den of Lyons They were faithful and God rewarded them Our day is coming and is only one of the commandments that the Christian world is not united on and is the Sabbath commandment reason why this command clearly shows who gave all the others for you to obey without the forth commandment you would not know who you are obeying Satan hates this command because this one tells you that the Lord is my God and He is my creator and He made Heaven and Earth .Satan is jealous we all know that so in all of the ten commandments Satan have man to disobey each one of them we have to do the opposite of them for us to disobey so here is the question in order for man to disobey the fourth commandment what they have to do more than to keep another day in place of the day God sets up as His day can you see . It's important to consider the true meaning of the scripture rather than reading too much into it. Can you explain what the Seventh Day Adventist and Pentecostal Church are? Are all of you truly children of God? Even though you may belong to a denomination, is it truly aligned with Christ Jesus? Always remember to fear God and not lean solely on your own understanding.
I believe our goal is getting to heaven and if a person follows The Holy Bible word for word and tries his/her best not to sin against the Word "Jesus". Repent when you do, as we all sin. If sincere we will go to heaven. Very simple, not complicated.
Even if he talk to a SDA person. Since he writer a book, he could study Truth for himself. If he had really understand true protestansim, he would notmake such a statement. Pray for him.
