Hey everyone, if you'd like to show support or connect with Yuna, you can reach her through : www.buymeacoffee.com/lPEAIyccqQ. Unfortunately, due to ongoing bullying regarding her illness, I've had to remove her Instagram. Even after confirmation from Korean bloggers and hospitals about her severe condition, some individuals continue to target her unfairly. I know I run a small channel, but I strongly stand against bullying. This is the first time I've covered a story about a K-pop fan, not because of her nationality, but because her situation deeply moved me. Many other TH-camrs haven't covered her story, and regardless of nationality, if something similar happened to anyone, I'd still bring attention to it.
I heard about her story, and it's heartbreaking. She began sharing her journey on social media, only to face relentless bullying. The cruelty forced her to delete all her Instagram pictures. Can you imagine? She's a Korean woman battling a brain tumor, confirmed by the hospital, and yet, people labeled her an attention seeker. It's devastating. All she wanted was to share her ten-year journey, hoping for support and understanding. Even if you can't offer financial help, a kind message would mean the world. I just hope those who spewed hate don't face similar hardships. When she passes, I know those people will suddenly express their condolences. It's so unfair that some only appreciate a story when it's too late.
When i heard she is from Korean and people started bullying her for talking about her illness i was not surprised - Such unkind world we live in! I hope the right people come through for her and she recover and get to see the Boys in 2025!
Thank you for sharing her story! I hoped someone talked about her! Not many medium talk about i guess is cause she deleted majority of her posts cause of the bullying, and it felt terrible to see. How can you literally bully someone who is on their death bed? really? She wasn't asking for money or attention; she was simply expressing her pain, regretting not being able to support the boys by buying their merchandise or attending their concert cause of family financial background. Her childhood story is so touching, especially considering her illness. It's devastating how people still bullied her. She provided evidence that she wasn't seeking attention but just needed to express herself and show how much being a K-pop fan meant to her. It's just so sad to see how cruel humans can be!
I came across her post while casually scrolling through Thread. At the time, it had numerous comments from Korean citizens expressing apologies for doubting her. This happened shortly after she shared the hospital she was in, and some individuals visited her, albeit it seemed their motive was to verify if her illness was genuine, which isn't good at all. I truly wish that other TH-camrs share her story, enabling us to come together and support her by filling her hospital room with BTS merchandise or whatever she wants.
It's heartbreaking how her story echoes that of someone with cancer yearning to meet Suga in the afterlife. My heart goes out to the majority of K-pop fans who seem to carry a heavy burden. While I don't oppose Korean military service, the duration feels excessively long. Imagining that some kpop fans might pass away before the group service ends pains me deeply. My heart aches for the woman; she anticipated love and support. Shame on those who bullied her.
