His parents are professional singers, and they began to teach him vocal art from the age of 5. He plays seven musical instruments and Dimash's voice is like a finely tuned instrument. He posses multiple voice types - bass, baritone, tenor, countertenor and soprano. His vocal pallette is almost unheard for a male singer. His vocal range is 6 octaves (from E2 - D8) recently . His whistle register goes up to G#7 previously, but on the 16 Sep 2017, he broke his personal highest note with a whistle register, D8 at Gakku Music Festival Almaty, Kazakhstan. The note D8 (4500-4800hz) which is 6 key higher than G#7 and 2 key more than 88 piano C8. The whistle (C8-D8) is trill one (5sec)... Here is this note
I went skiing once back in the day. I rented all the gear and went out to get a general lesson, while there I thought to my self, 'You have $10 to last the next three days to eat on'. So I begged off and went and turned in all the stuff and they graciously refunded all the money when they didn't have to. So I sat in the lodge while everyone else skied their brains out. They had the luxury of being rich-er. The funny thing is I was the only one to get sick from that trip. I got the flu that eventually turned into pneumonia. I missed school and work, fortunately my parents hadn't rented out my room. So I lost school and lost my job. Needless to say I don't like cold weather. I'm a golfer anyway. O.K. back to Dimash. He can play 7 different instruments, probably 8 by now as he was learning to play western guitar. Not country/western just western like we live in the west. Did you notice on the slow rise up the scale just before he dropped to his knees, he sang that all in one breath!! I am not a singer, but I can sing, and yes their is a difference, I have sung in groups, choirs, trio's, quartets, duets, and even sung solo a few times even in front of a few hundred people. And I can say that singing in one breath an ascending scale and at full volume takes an amazing amount of discipline. You have to be able to conserve air when your body is screaming for it. Just try it sometime, you'll see. This is where I started using his name as an adjective; 'You have been Dimashed!'.

Adagio was one of my favorites too. I finally after this is my new favorite, this is my new favorite, had to break down and say, "What the heck, I have SEVERAL favorites." This may or may not be your cup of tea but I loved Dimash's performance of the Show Must go On by Queen.
