I purchased this Thule around 2013 and really enjoyed it until I failed to raise if off of my bumper and now have a small blemish lol! Solid bike rack! It's a keeper

I just purchased this used so I don’t have the manual. I have the rack installed on my car but I don’t know how to lower the bracket that the wheels sit on? Is there some kind of lock switch I’m missing? Thanks!

I'm using one of these (www.amazon.com/Allen-Sports-Deluxe-2-Bike-Trunk/dp/B00TRTSAZM/ref=sr_1_3?_encoding=UTF8&c=ts&dchild=1&keywords=Bicycle+Car+Racks&qid=1609087099&s=outdoor-recreation&sr=1-3&ts_id=491440011) and it's been working fine for 4 months. I took it on a 80 mile trip and it worked well. I actually seen a bike rack that uses a tow hitch fail on the highway on my way to my local trails lol. It just fell off the hitch with the bikes still attached. Supposedly, those are more secure and solid.
