me too. i know even after he said that he didnt anymore, even after she shot him, he wouldnt ever hurt her. he cares too much. i just wish that ward and her started dating a while before he was revealed as hydra. i wish that skye/daisy/quake loved him like he loved her and that way the show would have more emotion. it seemed as skye got over ward quiet quickly which makes it so hard to ship them but i wish that skyeward could be a thing without a doubt. i would want them to be together with my whole heart

Framework Ward was so legit. Victoria Hand was his John Garrett in that world, so you know he was on the straight and narrow, and you know his love for Skye was been real. Man, if we could get a Ward redemption story next season or we could just go back to that Framework world again just to see these two together I'd be happy.
I'm glad they had Framework Ward bc everyone said he was a horrible person and he was never good but I disagreed. Ward was not inherently bad, he was shaped to be bad by Garrett and I think he might have even stood up to Garrett had the team tried to bring him back themselves instead of trying to kill him
One thing I did not like with the show is they made Ward go full psycho. Why they didn't make him just an anti-hero? Then merged his character with Quake's boyfriend in the comics, also a shield agent, an inhuman, and sort of bad guy. This vid is so painful.
Ray Ruth when Skye called Garret in the finale of season 1 when Garret told her that Fitz and Simmons were brave until their last breaths Ward looked at John like he was willing to kill him. I wanted Ward to be good again but I’m sure if he had killed John then gotten into a fight with deathlok then Skye would have ordered Mike to stand down but then Ward would have probably still gone into shield custody and could have redeemed himself but he was much better as a villain

I'm rewatching season 1 atm and it's kinda heartbreaking to see their relationship which was so natural and genuine at first change when Garrett finds out about it and Ward's job becomes getting Skye to decript the harddrive. His genuine affection and care for her (which is so so visible especially after she gets shot) turns into this kind of obsessive behaviour. He knows what Garrett and the people around him are capable of, he knows how in danger Skye is because they almost killed her once before. He feels like he owes Garrett everything (Garrett manipulated the sh*t out of a broken teenager...) but he also wants to keep the team and especially Skye safe. It's so so heartbreaking because he chose Garrett over Shield and over the team at the really crucial moments (Not killing Victoria Hand but Garrett instead being the first one, he could have also not told Garrett about the Gravitonium, stay at Providence and explain to the team etc etc). There are so many points where it would have been so "easy" for Ward to leave Garrett and stick with the team, the people who genuinely cared for him and the people he genuinely cared for and loved, but years of manipulation, emotional & mental abuse and brainwashing made Ward choose Garrett. And the more I think about it the sadder I get. We see in the framework how Ward could have turned out. We see that he wasn't a bad man, but an empty kid with a bad influence. Also, props to Brett for being such an incredible actor and being able to show the subtle changes from genuine love to obsessive love

I think Skyeward is the most tragic shortlived ships I've ever shipped. I shipped her with Lincoln and Robbie and Tripp. So much chemistry. Anytway Skyeward was so shortlived cuz we mostly all shipped them then found out about Ward so it became toxic and not at all what it was built up to be. It would be amazing if in season 5 they did her with Robbie to try it out and in 6 Ward came back reborn somehow but the same age and they worked things out.

I was really hoping they would bring him back in the last season. Like maybe they could have made him a body like Aida did and the good Ward from the Matrix place could have joined the team. I was really disappointed that they didn't do that, it would have been the perfect way to bring Ward back.

Can we all think for a second in the framwork it showed then their biggest regret or what they wondered would have happened if something in their life didnt happen. For Coulson it was if he never joined shield, fitz was if simmions was never in his life, Mack was his daughter and so on. But if we think about is Daisy' was if Ward never died and if Linclon was never in her life. She was with Ward. So some part in Daisy is telling her she wants Ward or else that never would have happened. Ward always said Daisy was more like him than she realised and he was right because the more we watch Daisy grow in the season the more she acts like Ward even if she doesnt realize it. So much has happened in AOS and we all know Ward and knowing AOS an explosion in space isnt gonna stop Ward. I feel like some way some how Ward and mabye even Linclon were rescued somehow because the Kree were always up there. So theres a chance they are still alive...Cross your fingures everyone cause season 6 here we come...!!!!!✈🚀💥🌟

I kinda feel like they should’ve continued Ward’s story much differently then they did. He should’ve gone through with getting his mind wiped and renamed JT James and low and behold he ends up taking fish oil because of course Ward would be a health nut in whatever life he’s leading and he ends up going through terra genesis. Of course they have to bring him in and index him and he eventually ends up back on the team. He would’ve made a better hellfire than the one we got. This would also be a clever way to keep the SkyWard ship alive while also being comic accurate because Hellfire and Quake were a couple in the comics. Probably a stretch but I liked Brett Dalton and he deserved to be a hero lol.
He was such a big part of her character development. She was getting stronger when he was training her, but after he pulled all the stuff he did, he made her a different kind of strong that you can’t get with love. It made her who she is, and it happened again with Lincoln and its tragic, but Daisy is essential and the love and hate between these two fueled everything she did in later season s
I think if daisy/Skye had forgiven ward for everything that had happened in season 1 and she had told him that he could be a good man that he probably would have changed
QuakingSkies I feel the same way, he was twisted bc of what happened to him as a child and his mentor just darkened him, but there was good in him, there was hope. Sky brought it out of him and you can tell he cared for his team, so much so he resisted in some ways, he wasn't hydra he did what he did bc he followed his mentor (his father figure). I believe that if they helped him out, they could of brought out the good and he could start his redemption. He was rejected and pushed away only to be swept up by the darkness that was already consuming him. He had a tragic story.

i would too if he dropped me to the bottom of the ocean to die, he did kill billy also. skye did changed him, he did love her and that love turned into an obsession, but it didnt do much affect concerning others that were not her. maybe if victoria had found him instead like in the computer program it could of been different for him, who knows?

I'm just sad that SkyeWard wasn't resolved. Brett gave an interview around this time last year and said that fans would be happy with the SkyeWard resolution and I wasn't. There was no resolution. Ward was obviously someones regret, as that is the only reason he would have been there and it was never discussed.

I kinda feel like they should’ve continued Ward’s story much differently then they did. He should’ve gone through with getting his mind wiped and renamed JT James and low and behold he ends up taking fish oil because of course Ward would be a health nut in whatever life he’s leading and he ends up going through terra genesis. Of course they have to bring him in and index him and he eventually ends up back on the team. He would’ve made a better hellfire than the one we got. This would also be a clever way to keep the SkyWard ship alive while also being comic accurate because Hellfire and Quake were a couple in the comics. Probably a stretch but I liked Brett Dalton and he deserved to be a hero lol.
He was such a big part of her character development. She was getting stronger when he was training her, but after he pulled all the stuff he did, he made her a different kind of strong that you can’t get with love. It made her who she is, and it happened again with Lincoln and its tragic, but Daisy is essential and the love and hate between these two fueled everything she did in later season s

I think if daisy/Skye had forgiven ward for everything that had happened in season 1 and she had told him that he could be a good man that he probably would have changed
QuakingSkies I feel the same way, he was twisted bc of what happened to him as a child and his mentor just darkened him, but there was good in him, there was hope. Sky brought it out of him and you can tell he cared for his team, so much so he resisted in some ways, he wasn't hydra he did what he did bc he followed his mentor (his father figure). I believe that if they helped him out, they could of brought out the good and he could start his redemption. He was rejected and pushed away only to be swept up by the darkness that was already consuming him. He had a tragic story.
Yes but its not like i blame them in their situation i might have pushed him away too like daisy said she didnt fully understand wars but she sees now there was some good in him and back then she couldnt see it
i would too if he dropped me to the bottom of the ocean to die, he did kill billy also. skye did changed him, he did love her and that love turned into an obsession, but it didnt do much affect concerning others that were not her. maybe if victoria had found him instead like in the computer program it could of been different for him, who knows?
I agree but after Kara died, I believe there was no changing him and he was just lost to darkness. I feel like after this point anything that Skye would have said wouldn't have changed.

leaving Ward was such a great character development for Daisy. She went from bottom of my list to a person I admired for all seasons to come! Ward was not only a spy but a very dangerous sociopath! Of course we didn’t know till the episode ‘Turn, turn, turn’ it was a great twist

I'm just sad that SkyeWard wasn't resolved. Brett gave an interview around this time last year and said that fans would be happy with the SkyeWard resolution and I wasn't. There was no resolution. Ward was obviously someones regret, as that is the only reason he would have been there and it was never discussed.
