What a nice surprise late in the evening! Thanks a lot for your beautiful reaction - part of the song sounded familiar to you because Raye gave some sneak previews, you have heard a snippet of part ii in her Brit Awards medley (remember she did "Ice Cream Man", "Prada", and finally "Escapism", but in between Prada and Escapism there's the chorus of Genesis part ii "I see a sad little sinner in the mirror...".) My favorite part is the jazzy part iii "let there be light", but usually I'm listening to the full song because parts i & ii really build the dark tension which makes the release into the light in iii all the more beautiful... This truly is a journey from dark places to the light, lyrically and musically, and I love it! What a beautiful artist she is! And can we talk about the video for a moment? Remember she's an independant artist, so she had to realize it without the huge budged of a major company, and she and her team did a really great job, enhancing the lyrics and music with congenial visuals... 11 out of 10 for me... Now you may watch the live version on your own... And as soon as you're ready you might do a reaction to Raye "All Dressed Up" (acoustic) - one of the saddest and most beautiful songs ever written... Have a great day and enjoy it, peace and love from Bavaria!
Hey Gracie, I hope you'll be reading this comment... :) I just discovered something awesome! You don't wanna miss it! Now, this guy "PJ Cruz" just released a video "Reaction to Raye on guitar" - this is such a jam! I know you love yourself a good electric guitar, and this guy is jamming with "Worth It" like it was his own song! And the mix is perfect, it sounds like he's in her band as an additional guitarist, great recording. He's using Raye's official visualizer as his audio backing track, visible in a small window on the screen, but the main feature is him playing along on the main screen... dude can improvise like a god and his sound is so sweet, this is a perfect match, he managed to add a beautiful layer on a perfect track and deserves some recognition... And he doesn't talk in his video, and does not pause Raye's song, just jamming along the full song on his guitar - and I tell you he is GOOD! - If possible please let me watch your reaction to this, but if it seems too weird to react to a reactor whose reaction is playing along on an electric, then don't miss to watch it on your own and please let me know what you think! Dude's enhancing a Raye song, that's accomplishing an impossible project... Reacting to "RAYE - Worth it" on Guitar (PJ Cruz) th-cam.com/video/MS4hhdiVbLs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UArmB0jiO7ZpQ-GC Peace and love from Bavaria!
It’s refreshing to see natural pure reactions, you beam happiness towards RAYE and you can genuinely see how much you vibe with her music
yeah, Gracie's one of my favorite music reactors...
