That's my favourite panel , all my favourite guests on at the same time 👊♥️
My favourite part was when a chunk of our fanbase lost their minds because a Journalist at the Athletic called us a 'Weird' club.
Temps needs to get a little forest momento in the background! 😂
Love this podcast. Thanks Matt and the team.
Brilliant wrap up thanks all.
Fantastic Podcast. I could have genuinely listened to all your opinions and memories for another 3 hours
Temps was my star of the season
He talks proper sense does Temps.
Chris Wood, the chip over the keeper against Newcastle. Murillo player of the season, AWESOME.
Agree Neco Williams, what a step change by him against last season. Beating Fulham at home, totally dominant.
Lots of great goals! My favorite (unfortunately in a loss) was the Danilo right footed volley from outside the box. Murillo goal of the season next year :D
if Nuno goes, Callum hudson odoi and murillo and possibly danillo would want to go. Nuno explains all in portuguese for brazilians. Get defensive mistakes sorted out
Didn't realise cho was portuguese? Also if nuno was such a draw for murillo and danilo why did they sign under cooper? 🤷
The Tiger is actually the king of the jungle. Lions live on the plains/savannah never the Jungle. #NecoWasRight
Learn something new every day!
Funniest/strangest moment for me is Tavares sub cameo. This extremely erratic player had actually started to show some value to the team ,until his substitute cameo , which was so bad that it was actually funny.
Murillo, CHO, Aina, Sels ... take your pick.
I voted for wood @greg 👍🏻
Chris Wood is fantastic but I do not trust Tawiyo because of the long term injury. I believe Forest needs another quality striker.
Such a professional intro boys 🤦🤣
As ever :)
Fulham away for the worst moment, one of the few away games I made it to. Gosh it was bad :(
Dominguez header. So good
Agree with Temps - D - Could have done better.
Murillo hands down no debate who out of the 2 of him and gibbs was ever substituted or missed a start definitely wasn't murillo
Mikey’s performance of the season. Some great shouts in there
C- for me.
MGW for sure.
Re. Sels. I read some stats to suggest that Turner's were better in a number of ways. Perhaps we let a few big gaffs colour our judgement.
Then that goes to show how misleading stats can be.
Prior to Sels arrival, we had a goalkeeping crisis. Not just multiple big errors, but the fear he created amongst our defenders , and his awful distribution.
I truly believe that if a signing and change hadn't been made then we would have gotten relegated.
E
D, must do better
I'd take 17th again next season. All you have to do is look at what Brighton did, and we're a bigger more attractive club than them. But you guys sit there wanting midtable when everyone else in this league has spent 4+ years in the prem. Unrealistic! I'm glad none of you are the owner as we'd probably be on our 10th manager by now!
I don't think we said that. I'd take any improvement on this season in league position and points.
I'd take 17th for the next 2 seasons.....and once you reach 5 years in the PL, your future as a club is secure....go down - you're coming back up 90% of the time.
@Forest-Focus you all giving this season a D says it all. Our squad has only known eachother for around 18 months or less. Yes we could of played better, or saw out results but you're guaranteed nothing in premier league games, regardless of if its against Luton or brentford. For this team to go through what its been through this season, for you to give it a D is a disrespect to the work they've put in
Can't be anything more than an E considering we were the worst team outside of those that went down. No real cup runs, then throw in how badly run the clubs was behind the scenes to get us a points deduction, plus a bloated squad with a large amount of duds and some very worrying performances and results on the pitch. It would have been an F if we went back down, but how could the rating be any higher?
If you look at the PL in the past 15 years, there has been a trend for promoted clubs going back down after TWO years - the likes of Cardiff, Norwich, Huddersfield, Leeds, Sheff U, Hull , QPR have fallen fowl of this. To get a third season is a decent achievement - after 23 years away, especially. I do agree with you that I'm glad to see the back of the season in some way - to me, from July 1st, we will have got rid of a LOT of players that haven't contributed much in the past year - Hennessey, Felipe, McKenna, Arter (!!!), Panzo - the list goes on and on. We will be leaner and meaner going forward. As for the Points Deduction - I think Mr M took a calculated risk. Put it this way ; would you take KEEPING Murillo AND MGW and Risk another 4 points next season ? I would.
sels is average need better
GREG - Matt Sels as Signing of the Season - are you on drugs lad?
No way is Sels anywhere near the Signing of the Season - I’d go as far as saying - he needs replacing with Ramsdale - Sels made 1 clean sheet in over 25 games - obviously not ALL his fault, but he was certainly as fault for a fair few
No way Ramsdale is coming to Forest - he won't want Bottom 6 football - and I still think that;s what we'll get next season. Sels is solid IMO.....solid enough for Forest
