No letters through the door but got a txt message saying we owe £430 but do t know what the debt is for niw today i got another message saying there anpr car is in the area. No one has knocked on the door
The same thing happened to me. £5 has become £618. It's completely insane. In what world is this proportionate? Or reasonable? Or even justified? CDER Group, as a company, has an ethos seemingly designed by Hannibal Lecter -- and it's instructed, astonishingly, by the government. Daily calls, daily text messages, legalised thugs called enforcement agents stalking the streets looking for me, salivating at the prospect of seizing my car, all because I forgot to pay £5! Says so much, I'm afraid to say, about the broken, desperately unkind country we've become.
@@theotherguy5516 what happened ? I got a fine of these tyrants for driving in London first time , these were just one of many fines. Anyway I'm curious how yours got so high before they came round etc? Mine went to 249 for making a genuine mistake on one of Londons junctions, but they had a court summons so I kind of had to pay it although I made the smallest payment amount possible. I got over 700 quid worth of fines in total first time driving in London, out of them being of lambeth council. This country is absolute rip off and its partly why I am considering moving abroad now. I feel sorry if you live in London and drive dont know how average folk do it everyday con central . I love to know why the DVLA think its acceptable to give out peoples personal information , when I done my test I never signed a box stating DVLA could sell my information to private companies. Goes to show how corrupt this place is.
@@theotherguy5516they’ve just come and taken £426 off me, for a dartFord crossing that was paid the day after, I’ve already appealed and won 1 of these recently against marstons as I’d paid then also, I’ve paid these tonight and going to do the same, fella trying to provoke me at my door thinking he was a big man because he’s got a few muscles, kids in the house I just decided it wasn’t worth it and paid it to appeal or they would have taken my car, horrible company to deal with and I don’t owe them a penny!
Hi TallPoe and theotherguy! It's worth noting that CDER Group has to follow Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidelines. If you think they have broken the rules, you can file a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service here: www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumers/how-to-complain Thanks for sharing your experiences and good luck!
@@MoneyNerd Thanks very much for that. I'll be making a complaint. I've already drafted a letter to my MP about this, in the futile hope this situation doesn't befall someone else in the future.
You are assuming that the debt is genuinely owed. If it isn't, you can dispute the debt. That should stop CDER action, but it doesn't. CDER Group ignore FCA guidelines...
How do they get involved in the first place? I've been dealing with them for a year now because someone used my name on his car and is driving around London collecting fines. CDER group with no other information but the name, decided that I'm the person and since then, I was able to close 2 cases for congestion charges but every time the same vehicle collects a ticket, they are back harassing me.
If you dispute the debt, you should inform them. That should stop further enforcement action according to FCA guidelines. Of course, it doesn't stop them because they are such an obnoxious company. But, it opens the way for you to complain officially to the FOS and claim compensation
Hi Ruggero! You can file a dispute with CDER Group to get this resolved. If it hasn't, then you can escalate the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Here are some links to get you started: moneynerd.co.uk/cder-group/ www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumers/how-to-complain Hope this helps!
I received a letter from cder group 807£ notice of intention to take control of your goods HMCTS Imposition warrant of control but I am student I am not able to pay because I am not know why I received a letter I am soo much worried and anxiety please me for help because I don’t know what I got this letter about
You don't owe them any money at all. They're a fake bulk debt company and bully people saying you had a court case and owe more money. The same company has been doing this for years under different names. It's fraud and getting peoples details also illegal
Bin it. The simple rule to follow is that if you do not let them in, they cannot force their way in. You do not have to even talk to them, just close the door if they call and you open it without realising it's them. NEVER EVER sign a "controlled goods agreement", they might ask you to sign and pay, for example, £50 a month but if you default they they can call a locksmith to unlock your door and take your stuff. Ig you don't sign the agreement then you haven't agreed to it and they can't do a thing. However, do note they can take anything outside such as a car unless it is on private land owned by somebody else, such as a neighbour's driveway. But seriously, they need your help and agreement to do anything, just don't give it to them. There is NO LAW that says you have to even speak to them if you do not want to.
Not particularly good advice. If they have a Controlled Goods Agreement (CGA) and you have defaulted on it, they can get a locksmith to gain entry BUT you can still prevent this by putting a bolt on every door. Remember they can NOT force their way in, so even if they get the door unlocked they will still be unable to gain entry. Hoewever, you have no legal obligation to sign a CGA so you should NEVER do so. In fact you have no legal obligation to even speak to them. you're better off not doing so; they will then pass the debt back to the council - they have no option to do anything else. They can only charge you once, not for repeated visits and there is a limit to how much they can charge. You can also refuse to deal with the bailiff as I did, you have no legal obligation to do so as the money is owed to the council, not the bailiff, when the action is taken for council tax arrears. Just tell them to go away and shut the door if you happen to open it and find a bailiff stood there. Pay the council ,even just a small amount and they won't do anything else if you can't afford to pay them any more because it's not going to get them anywhere, it makes no sense for them to try to take any further action of you are already paying as much as you can reasonably afford. But NEVER EVER deal with the bailiff.

I've had similar text last week
Had one of their bailiffs ring me earlier and was told to shut up while trying to politely ask questions.
Dartford crossing charge I missed. How do they justify adding fees to explode the cost from a £5 debt to your entire car. It’s a complete con.

Hi Soma! Yes, the first step is to check if the debt is yours by sending a 'prove the debt' letter. Thanks for sharing!
Ignore them

They cant force entry!
CDER goons, previously JBW, same goons, same goon owner.
Only debtor can confirm existence of a debt.

@severnsea keep all letters for evidence 😁👍 just incase there's a massive claims case
