A great AKC Scentwork Detective hide by the judge

This is the first couple minutes of an AKC Detective search. It's one of the best hide placements I've experienced and was perfect for the area it was in.

Thank you very much for discussing your thought process. I appreciate your insights on possible converging odor. He seemed to catch the picnic table odor because he went almost right to it. A good lesson about how one approaches a hide can make a difference, too. He went under that stair railing twice and didn't catch it. I wonder if once he found the picnic table hide, he also had an anchor point back to the hide on the stair rail. Do you think you would have gone back to the porch and stairs had he not beelined there after the picnic table?
