I feel like he should be able to do something during breather, like maybe even an alternate move that can disrupt enemies or somthing but doesn’t have too much offensive capability
I say the thing is they try to tune down certain heroes for certain scenarios but than buff others to make them work since the tuning down stays the same buffed ones opress others and it creates a cycle like sigma and rein used to be good now both do nothing cause cant execute kills by themselves easily whereas hog ramatra zarya queen df can do that better yet all for specfic moments and scenarios
Sigma is literally one of the best characters in the game tho? He is atleast in the top 3 tanks in terms of viability right now. He does a ton of damage and is just all around a great tank who covers a lot of bases. He definitely doesn't need a buff. Rein does need to see some changes tho.
Sigma is the best All-rounder tank. He is not oppressive, but still very very powerful. He has never not been Meta (except against dive), because he, in essence, has double shields, hard CC, and sustained damage. He can kill very easily and IMO, tanks shouldn't be able to kill others if the enemy is getting healed. Except Roadhog who shouldn't exist in 5V5 but that's another discussion. Idk what rank you are in but Sigma is strong. Rein on the other hand is a remnant of the old OW Tank ideal, and with the Developer team now pushing for Deathmatch instead of teamplay, he needs to be heavily reworked. Imagine in OW2 not being able to damage and block at the same time while having 0 mobility.
Roadhog is good but Orisa, sigma, mauga and junkerqueen are just better, whats the point of playing hog anymore if you cant walk up to anybody without losing more than half of your hp, not to mention that this healing nerf just makes it harder for low elo hogs because now you cant sustain yourself alone without having a healer that takes care of you all game, the independency that you had with hog before now is gone, the only reason that I find that you still play him is because you like him as a character, but even the best hog player has to change of tank sometimes is crazy to me
Wait. What Leo were you playing that you coul do solo hog things. Play diamond, masters and gm still relied on supports to make hog work no matter the Leo but if you talking bronze-gold ranks then I counter you can do the same with majority of heroes
oh yeah, nerfing the character that had a 54% win rate across all ranks pre-mauga and is the most obnoxious tank to play against was totally unnecessary. 🤡
@@rafaelhuarte9645 and you missed the part where I said pre-mauga. Current Hog either shits on or is neutral against every tank but mauga, and 50 less healing on the breather in nowhere near enough to put him in line with the other tanks. (though the 1.5s breather cooldown may make more of a difference against some lineups) And Overbuff has very limited data btw, the number I mentioned was what the devs actually let out.
@@Caiofoca well, overbuff is a bit what we have. And even after 3 months it continues to show values around 48, 50%. Honestly, I would have left Hog as it is, he has already suffered too much these years. And Obrisa's changes seem a bit criminal to me (although not as criminal as Sojourn)

I've been min-maxing all this time? I often trio with two plats and I'm in diamond.
It's so much damage in such a short time. They need to reduce everyones damage by 1/4 or something.

nah hog definitely needed a nerf. it only affected the bad hogs.
