  • @LegendaryMaoMao20

    I really love this projector so much, the only thing that killed it from me buying it, is that it doesn't have a built-in battery, so yeah I just bought the older Mogo Pro from your older reviews and I'm very happy with it :)

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it's a shame it has no battery as it would be a perfect portable projector! Thanks for watching.

      You'll lose ansi lumens if solely using internal battery. Power bank will work much better then battery

    • @NyneIX9
      @NyneIX9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But you can use any external battery with its USB-C port! I know it's not as neat as an internal battery, but once it's dead you're screwed unless you're amazing at taking things apart, replacinging the dead battery, and putting it back together again. That's just me, though. I'm all for longevity when looking at this product. I am getting the non-Pro model later today, but I'm really hoping it'll last me a couple of years.
      Edit: Yeah, I realize now he briefly demonstrated the external battery usability, but my longevity preference still stands! 😅

    Good review!, I've got the current Mogo Pro, not overly enammered with the built in speakers, so Ive got it BT'd to a Bose Home 500 which thunps out! Damn, good unit though overall. Have netflix running absolutely fine on it

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There not bad when you look at the size of it. Of course some big Bose speakers is much better! Yes my Netflix looked to be in SD but later got it sorted.

      @@Techtablets Yep pretty impressed with mine, might go with the new one as it's a bit brighter and louder! Shame they didn't put the flip stand on it, mine has it, but no biggie as i have mine on a tripod anyway!

  • @JSongzJ

    Is the brightness much dimmer compared to the Halo+?
    What about the sharpness? Is the Halo+ noticeable sharper?
    And what about the sound? Is it a noticeable downgrade to the Halo+?
    I really don’t need the internal battery, but I want a compact design.
    Overall I’m pretty convinced to buy the Mogo 2, but I’m a bit concerned that this projector is much worse than the bigger brother.
    Hope you can help and thanks for the review!

    • @NyneIX9
      @NyneIX9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm getting the Mogo 2 today, even though I'm well aware of it being 720p. That bugs me a little, but I'm trying to take solace in the fact that pixel count isn't the whole story. The Mogo 2 actually has HDR and really great color accuracy (from what my research shows) , so the lower res shouldn't be that big of a deal.

  • @JuliusSobrino

    Great review @TechTablets!
    Some things I would like to have your opinion though...
    1) Setting the MoGo 2 Pro around 3m away from a white wall, in complete darkness, do you think it's gonna fall to much in quality, brightness and color? Is OK as distance?
    2) I'm torn between Halo+, Elfin or MoGo 2 Pro. Might use it for house use, some travelling and outdoor perhaps, and eventually in some business meetings on client's office. Would MoGo 2 Pro the best sweet spot for you?
    Thank you and keep up the good work! Liked and subscribed!

I have the Mogo Pro + and I’m considering switching to the Mogo 2 pro, is there a way to make the projector directly start on the HDMI source (connected to Apple TV) instead of selecting the source manually? Better off spending a little bit more to get the Xgimi Elfin, double the brightness in lumens, 400 lumens isn't the best unless in a dark room, brightness of a projector massively improves clarity and colours, alternatively do what I did, save up and get the big boy Xgimi Horizon Pro, 4k and over triple the lumens.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the big boy Horizon Pro I reviewed is great, 4k, and super bright. Well this is 400 ISO lumens which is about 500 ANSI lumens it's okay yes but not going to be amazing with ambient light. The plus side to this MoGo 2 Pro is it's $550 a lot cheaper than the Horizon Pro.

    • @KingOfBanks
      @KingOfBanks 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      How 'portable' is the Horizon Pro? I see its got a non-usb power input and can't find any IPxx rating which could be an issue outside.

    Great Review. I am currently looking into buying thisone or the Halo Plus, can get it for roughly 100 more than mogo 2 Pro. To me, seems like it has much more to offer, 2-3x brighter, better image processing (and dedicated gaming mode 25ms), build in battery and so on. I miss USB C on the Halo Plus but that would be the only big point for me as size is rather similar and both fit in a bagpack. Which one would you recommend?

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The Halo plus is a great choice, yes it has 900 ANSI lumens so a lot brighter. Only down side is no type c and it's a lot louder since it's brighter.

    The site said 400 ANSI Lumens and from what I've seen, since I've been looking into projectors for my new RV and my home, ISO Lumens are like 80% higher than ANSI Lumens. Meaning if it's 400 ANSI, then it's like 720 ISO lumens.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All i can see shows that it's 400 ISO lumens and I might have accidentally called it ANSI lumens since normally that's what they use. But for some reason it's ISO with XGIMI this time.

    • @seansmith6473
