- I have made this video after several requests asking how I drill holes in resin to add hooks etc. I have also shown how easy it is to sand sharp edges and remove bubbles and blemishes from resin as well as using the polishing wheel. Once this is done it is easy to re-coat the piece with another clear coat of resin. This will then give you a nice smooth blemish free piece of work. Using the Dremel 4000, or a similar tool is very easy and ideal for the resin beginner. The drill and the sanding cuts through the resin like a hot knife through butter, so go gently with a light touch . Please ensure that anytime you are sanding, drilling or polishing resin that you have a suitable MASK on to prevent you from breathing in the fine resin particles, as these can be bad for your health and lungs. I hope that you find this video useful, please let me know in the comments for this video if you have any tips or tricks you would like to share for polishing drilling or sanding.

Although I often talk about health and safety in my videos, please make sure you do your own research and take the relevant precautions to ensure that you are protecting your health. I am not responsible for anyone using resin and not taking the correct safety precautions. Resin is a chemical and as such should be always treated with respect and the manufacturers safety advice taken.
